Eureka opened her eyes, feeling Kurt had moved. She looked up at him and smiled.
"HEy," she said. "Feeling better?"

Kurt shivered, and wavered between answers.
"Yeah, i mean, i'll live. Just a little sore." He decided on, smiling.

Eureka sat up and stretched her shoulders, then smiled at him.
"That's good..." she chuckled slightly.

"Yeah well... I could be dead right?" Kurt joked, then his smile faded, and he looked intently at Eureka.
"Im just glad it was me, not you...." Kurt said seriously, then laughing.

Eureka sighed and looked down.
"It would have been better if it was me," she replied. "I've gotten used to his beatings."

Kurt looked shocked, but immediantly reappeared his stubborn self and jerked up Eureka's head so he could look into her eyes.
"NO. It's better it was ME. he would've KILLED you Eureka, and THAT would NOT have been GOOD." He insisted, almost tearing up.
"you...You shouldn;t have had to get u-used to them... He's just, just a.... " Kurt choked out, begining to cry again.

"Just a jerk," Eureka finished for him.
She licked his nose. "You're real great Kurt..."

Kurt blushed, and looked up at her with his intensely blue eyes.
"Thanks Eureka, you sure know how to cheer a guy up!" Kurt said,
Jumping playfully onto Eureka, attacking her with nips like a
Puppy. He pAused, and smiled. "Rawr"

Reka couldn't help but laugh.
"oooh," she teased. "I'm so scaared."

Kurt mumbled another growl as he softly chewed on eureka's neck, pretending to try and kill her. "You SHOULD be scared!!" he woofed.

Eureka rolled on her side and growled playfully, all the while laughing.
"Oh i'm gonna get cha!" she barked.

Kurt yelped, and bounced back, he smiled, and playbowed.
"Catch me if you can?!" He said, prancing around her, nipping at her wagging tail.

Reka laughed and jumped to her paws, wagging her tail as she playfully rushed at him, constantly jumping back before he could nip at her.

"Hey!! That's not fair!!" he said when Eureka held Kurt down by his tail while she bit at him. "Cheater cheater!" he said, trying to bite her back, to no evail.

Eureka laughed then jumped away, holding her head high in triumph.
"Alls fair in love in war!" she barked.
