Charlie cringed when he heard the name Carface, "A despicable, low life, bum, vagabond, idiot, moron, demon, etc...." Charlie went on and on about how bad of a dog Carface is.

"I'll be right here Nika." Rollie said walking over to the side where Nika stood, "One isn't enough to guard the house."
Itchy stood off to the side, "Guess I'll be here with the two lovebirds," Itchy said rolling his eyes.

Lucky was still in the Fleabite with Mishka, shivering with fear. The fight had frightened the young border collie mix. The sight and the scent of blood made Lucky absolutely terrified and he soon became so scared he refused to talk at all. Though, in the back of his mind, Lucky wondered what it was like to fight. He shook the thought from his head, hopefully he wouldn't ever have to fight. Still, life held a whole lot of surprises, some good and some bad.

Charlie got madder and madder with each word, "There are about a million other words for that imbasul. You'll see what I mean when you meet the lowlife." Charlie snarled at Zero all of the memories came up of how Carface tried to kill him many times.

"Getting worked up isn't going to help us Charlie you'll only make yourself more agitated." Zero said, ears drooping slightly.
"He's right Charlie, now is the best time to keep a level head." Zak replied, nodding.

Mishka held Lucky close "Your mother will be fine, I'm sure she beat those ugly dogs with one paw behind her back!" She hoped the pup would talk back, if not would he stay this silent forever?Mishka laughed a little at herself at the stupid thought and passed the pup a rootbeer.
Nika smiled thankfully at Rollie and nuzzled him.She looked at the sun and sighed heavily "I guess our date is ruined, but atleast your here." She smiled, then she caught what Itchy had said "Where is that Shay girl?I thought you like her." She asked, Itchy had met a beagle named Shay at the Bite the night Nika met Rollie.

Rollie nuzzled with Nika a little, "Guess we will have to go another night, but at least I am with you," Rollie made a poor attempt to be romantic. He looked at, Charlie, Ace, and Zero you go on, "the 2 1/2 of us will be fine keeping an eye on this place," Rollie said looking down upon Itchy.
Itchy looked up at Rollie and growled, "Nika, I haven't seen Shay since that night I have know idea where she had gone," Itchy sighed Itchy did like Shay but wants to get to know her more.

Nika nudged Itchy playfully "Oh she will come around one day, I know she lives around here somewhere so she will have to come by here sometime!" She sounded hopefull for the small dog.

"Hopefully she'll be back at the Fleabite soon," Itchy said looking out the window at the setting sun and taking a deep breath in and letting it out.

"She'll be back," Itchy said looking up at Nika and breaking a smile.
