"Well, good morning sonshine," relied a sarcastic Abby as she, Al,and Loki walked back towards the others.
Loki held in a small laugh, his sister was so sarcastic when she was in a bad mood, usually after just waking up.
Fenris, Flint, and Lyna walked to the group also.

"Who says its a good one?" Hiro grumbled, eyes only half open as he sat down heavily.

Lyna walked to Hiro, stumbling slightly. "Doggie," she said happily, pulling happily on his tail.

Sadie couldn't help but snicker at his expression.

"Lyna! You should be more careful," Flint said, yawning.
Fenris laughed, and wagged his tail. I wish mornings were always this funny and interesting! he thought, happily, but then he also had to think, Too bad Lyna has to leave, I really like her... he stopped wagging his tail and laughing, and frowned slightly.
"What's wrong with you?" Loki questioned Fenris.
"Oh, nothing much. I'm just sad that Lyna has to leave..." he said half-heartedly.

Hiro looked sourly at Fenris. "Then spend some time with her. Away from my tail." Lyna was still pulling on it, giggling.

Lyna reluctantly stood, and stumbled towards Flint. Once there, she sat down heavily, raising a small cloud of dust from the dirty ground. A small moment of stunned silence, then she began to cry.

"Good grief," Hiro said, retreating back to his trailer. The sound of her crying irritated his sensitive ears, and he frowned.

Flint rushed over, and tried to distract her and make her happy again.
Fenris swished his tail in front of her, also trying to discratch her. Maybe she would grab my tail, and I could help her up, he thought.
Loki watched, trying to decide if the two teen-aged canines could handle the situation.He stood, poised in case he decided they couldn't.

Fenris yelped loudly, and tried to remain calm, and not whip around and snap at the toddler.
Flint tried to help Fenris by making Lyna let go of him. He barked playfully at her, and licked her hands, thinking that she would do something because of their dampness.
Loki watched silently, thinking that this was totally under the teens' control.

Lyna let go, but apparently didn't feel like having a dog lick her hands, because she started crying again.

Sadie was feeling a bit desperate; she hadn't ever taken care of a wolf pup! How was she supposed to stop a human child from crying?

Flint whimpered, thinking about a diferent strategy, if he mocked her crying, would she stop?
Loki sighed, "She's very whiney. Mayb she's still sleepy. It's pretty early," he commented, thoughtflly.

"Make it stop!" Hiro's muffled, grumpy voice drifted towards them, and Sadie instinctively glared in the direction it had come from.

"Put a sock in it!" she yelled back at him.

Lyna seemed to sob even louder.

As Hiro's muffled voice drifted towards them again, Fen sighed.

"I'll take care of it," he muttered.

"What're you gonna do?" Loki asked, faintly worried.
Flint and Fenris backed away from Lyna slowly, trying not to make her cry any harder. They went and stood near Loki after they had backed away enough.
