Kurt huffed sarcastically, though still in pain he had an attitude.
"No, it's huge, i could've died, you saved me Eureka... i owe you WHen i wake up...." Kurt mumbled, falling asleep.

"Just relax," Reka said softly, licking the top of his head gently.

Kurt used his paw to flatten his hair where Eureka licked it, and sniffed once more before sleeping. He awoke hours later, stiff and sore, laying next to Eureka. He yawned, and almost stood, falling immediantly, from lack of strentgh.

Reka was awake when Kurt tried to stand. She moved to have him leaning against her, so he didn't fall flat on the ground.
"Take it easy," she said.

Kurt whined embaressed clearly, and lay down again, and rested his head on Eureka's ruff sighing into her fur.
"Im Sorry Eureka...." He muttered.

"You didn't do anything wrong, Kurt," Reka said, hearing the embarrassment in his voice.

"Maybe If i'd just let him kill me....It'd work out better....." He muffled. "If i let you deal with your problems..." He said, tears COMING OUT CLEARLY NOW.

"No Kurt," Reka folded her ears back against her head, she hated to see anyone she cared about cry, especially Kurt. "Don't you let him do anything to you. You're better than that."
Reka twitched her tail. "You let me handle Everret though...I'm not going to let him pick on you like this..."

Kurt sniffled and looked up at her, his deep sea blue eyes shimmering.
"Thanks Reka...."He Licked her cheek and lay his head on her paws sighing.

Reka nodded. "Next time i see him i'm giving him a peice of my mind." She huffed at the thought of Everrett.

Kurt stifled a laugh, and he sighed.
"You're the bestest friend i've ever had Eureka...." Kurt added, nuzzling her chin.

Eureka smiled and her tail thumped the ground slightly.
"And Kurt.." she waited until she knew he was listening. "I like 'like' you too..."

Kurt stopped breathing for a minture, then took a deep breath, and breathed out a sigh. He lay his h ead down on Eureka's paws again, and smiled.
"Good... Good....." Was alll he managed before he fell asleep.

Reka smiled and lay her head down, falling asleep as well.

Kurt awoke tiredly, and stretched his aching muscles. His fur was lined with dry blood, and he could still feel a sting when he stood. Kurt nuzzled Eureka, and sat, gazing dreamily at her.
