ooc- Ok, PAUSED for Pure_One

Cody was in his wolf form and smelled around him detecting that there is actually 20 people and about half of them have thermosuits, which makes them seem like they don't have any heat coming off of them. He stayed low to the ground until he smelled faint scents of his old pack of 'friends'. Once he smelled them, he worried about them and finally seen all of the guys. The guys have his 'friends' cornered except for his direction. Cody howled, hoping that his 'friends' could hear him. His howl was a signaling howl to his 'friends' to come his way. He then sprinted forward to kill one of the troops. When he took it down, they both tumbled out in the open where the others could see him.

At the sound of a howl Jocelyn turned to Cassie. "Cover me," she said as leaped at one of the men. She tuned out her ability to see the auras of everyone and sunk her teeth into a man's neck. His warm blood flowed down her throat, the flames dying away. she could feel her strength return and the Bervaine leaving her system as she drank his blood. Once she was finished, she moved onto a second man and drained him of his blood. Now full and at her maximum, Jocelyn hopped onto the back as a man and broke his neck, hopping off as he fell. Jocelyn ran up a tree where she would be out of reach and watched the others, looking to see if they needed any help.

Cody seen a man point a shotgun at Sevrin at point blank range. Cody got up where he was and raced over to get the man before he shot. The man shot right after Cody got in the way. The silver bullets hit him but he got the soldier. Cody stood heaving badly while blood was dripping down. He looked at Sevrin and asked "Are you okay, Sevrin? He didn't get you did he?"

Cody shook his head and said "What happened to you? How did you get tranquilized? Did they shoot you with a silver bullet and then a tranquilizer dart?" Cody killed the men around the two of them. He morphed to his human form and awaited an answer.

Cody nooded and said "It's usual, man. You see, the reason why silver bullets are deadly to us were-animals is that the bullets shut down our immune system. So, a silver bullet is like a regular bullet to us and they make us almost like a normal human. Add that with a tranquilizer dart and you get a tranquilized were-animal, usually. But it seems like you are almost as strong as I am. You see I get drowsy like you when I get shot and tranquilized like you did but everything else is good with me but if I get hit with two then I am out without a doubt. Another thing is Sevrin is that we are family now, this whole group is, and we take care of our family. I changed while you guys were in there if you haven't noticed yet. The others won't trust me for a bit because I betrayed them. That was my worst mistake in my entire life and I can't put it behind me because the others won't let me. Therefore, I try to make it up to them but I don't think I ever could."

"Well you got ones trust already," he said smiling, "Let's get going, we got to get the others, before something else happens," Sevrin said, turning into his fox form

Erin watched the bloody scene, things moving to fast for her to intervene. SHe wlaked up to where Sevrin and Cody were standing, surrounded by the corpses soaked with blood. She stared at Cody, a new emotion welling up inside her. It took her a moment to realize that it was...love. Love for an ex-traitor. SHe shook off that thought. It didn't matter anymore, he had helped, made it up. Unexpectedly, driven by a new instinct, she morphed into human and lenaed it close. She pressed her body against his and kissed him, her eyes closing. After a while, she broke off contanct, smiling at him, her green eyes shining happily. "Nice to see you again," she said.

Cody smiled and said while tilting his head "Hello, beautiful. I need you to take Sevrin and get out of here. I will get the others. Just get yourselves OUT. Don't worry about any of the others. I will get them out of here even if it kills me. After that, if I am still alive I will go get the were-animals who are trapped inside and blow this place up. Destroying the facility. So, no one will come after you guys again. Maybe, just maybe, we, all of us who are out here now, could live like a big family."

Jocelyn watched the three and raised an eyebrow. "Right. Well, I don't know about you... but I'm not letting Dakota get away with this..."
