Tasha felt awkward "Erm.. but you told me after Kody you find dad right? so maybe after Kody now i will find someone.." She chuckled " This mean Kody is used? like if you get a crush with kody then your next love will be true?"




Zion blinked "Why would you want to think of it? You wont survive in town son, were wolves.. and those two legged things dont like us and would kill you.. We safer here, dont ask me of that again" Zion turned his head "The forest is a much better place for us"

Hailey chuckled, "who knows?" she says, "that does sound logical though. Look, honey, I'm sure that right person will come into your life soon, you just have to wait."



"B-But dad, I'm going crazy staying with the same people every day, I want to meet some new people! have some more adventures!"

Zion growled "they are two legged monesters! you cant interact with them, you will find other friends soon you jsut have to wait till your older and able to roam in the forest safer.. with me ofcourse"




Tasha nods "Ok, I guess. But you aint choosing my mate right? i want to find someone on my own terms"

Aidan huffs, "alright dad," he says, even though he doesn't agree. "say," he tilts his head. "Have you ever met a two leg, Dad?"


Hailey shakes her head, "course not!" The two continue walking. Hailey stops for a moment.A twig cracks and Hailey's ears perk. "Did you hear that?" she says quietly to Tasha. "Somethings following us through the brush..."

Tasha looked up to her mother thinking she was making a playful joke, but the look on her face said otherwise. she turned her head to the bush and saw it twitching "What is it?"




Zion glared "You going on and on about those beasts.. You saying you want to be one of those.. dogs? Is life here not good enough?!" he growled louder

Aidan flattens his ears"All I'm saying is that I want to do something different for once!!" He replies.


"I don't...know..." Hailey replies slowly."But I don't think its good..." she sniffs the air..."Something stinks.." she says wrinkling her nose. Hailey's fur sticks up a little. "It smells like a bear...we had better keep moving.."

Zion calmed himself "If i take you to the place for a few minuites.. will you stop bothering me in future?"




Tasha blinked "Lets go tell dad! he will scare it off" She turned tail and heads back the way she came. stopping at the edge of a bush to look back to her mother

Aidan nods quickly. "Yes yes!"


Hailey moves slowly, "don;'t make any sudden movements Tash..." she says through gritted teeth. She jumps as the bear crashes through the brush, snuffling and snorting. THe hair on Hailey's neck stands up. A hungry grizzly....and possibly a dangerous one. Hailey dons a submissive pose and backs away slowly. So far the bear doesn't see her....until she steps on a twig. The snap breaks the silence...and the bear moves straight towards her!!! Hailey gasps and says to Tasha, "GO! GET OUTTA HERE!"

Zion sighed "Fine.. Come on, But you got to listen to me at all times .if i tell you to stop, you stop. If i say hide, you hide"




Tasha eyes opened wide in scare, Turning to her mother "A..B.." She couldnt argue, she knew she needed her father. She turned and Sprinted back through the trees towards her home. dodging trees but occasionally smacking agaisnt a few but still continueing

Zion and Aidan (sorry for skiping your lil aidan agreeing but i thought it may help to get this lil next scene up ^^) Padded through the forest, Zion looking slightly annoyed. turning back to his offspring then turning back Only halfway before Being Knocked down to the floor, pinned by another creature. Spinning over kicking and biting making Tasha jump in fright "Wait dad! its me!"

Zion blinked "Tasha? What on earth you doing? you running like you saw a-"

Tasha interrupted him "NO time ! Dad mothers in trouble! a B-"

Zion interrupted back "TROUBLE?! Where?!" He gasped out, Instantly jumping and sprinting in the direction as soon as Tasha pointed with her head. Racing through the trees not realizing he left Aidan and Tasha back alone. All that went in his mind was his Love being in trouble

Hailey's eyes widen in fear, it's big, it's angry, and....it's hungry....Her eyes dart back and forth looking for a way to get out....the bear lumbers towards her, catching her scent, Hailey skids out of the way catching her paw onto a sharp rock.
She mumbles a couple choice curses and focuses on the bear and a way to escape. Her ears prick as something else crashes through the underbrush....
Baby bear cubs...
[i]"No wonder.."thinks Hailey, she darts around the clearing, trying to find some thinner bushes to crash through.
Barking sounds in the distance.
"Zion!"
Her heart races even faster.
Her paw aches and throbs in pain, it slows her down.
The bear smells her "panic" and races after her, Hailey stumbles and lands in a thickcluster of bushes....
on her back, her belly exposed.
The bear rears up and strikes....

"Should we follow?" Aidan asks, his eyes widening.
He runs without waiting for an answer, "Mom!!" he yells.

Zion heard a roar and chased after it. then a scream of pain which Send Fear through his spine. But making him Run At VERy fast pace. Taking a few fits of trees but aint caring. Spotting a shape of a bear in the distanc.e Pushing through the Bushes and slown down. but spotted Hailey in the bushes " NOOO!" He screamed with his lungs and Sped up Launching himself at the bear Jumping up its big Arm and Launching at his neck. the Bear turnned and Spun to try throw Zion off. Keeping his grip on the bear but Falling off hitting a tree. but showing no pain he got back up And Launched at the bears Leg. Warpping his teeth around and Bitting hard. Shaking his head for more effect but soon getting moved from the bears great strength. The bear Swiped at the Wolf but Zion let go and dodged the swipe with swiftness. Then launching to the bears arm but instantly Flinged out Smacking to a tree. Tasha and Aidan Both rushed through the bushes. Tasha Shouting out "Dad!!" Zion looked over and growled to the bear. The bear turned to see more wolves. who growled too. the bear slowly started to back off. Pushing pass a bush to reveal some cubs who watched the fight. and guided them away. Zion got up slowly with his leg hurting. Looking over to Hailey. "No.. No haileY!!!" He Cralwed quickly. losing his footing once or twice before he collapsed onto Hailey " NO Hailey please talk to me! HaileY?!" he looked down at her. Tasha stared in shock from a distance "M...M..Mother?"

(i didn't want to go into too much gory detail on the bear beating up Hailey, so just pretend that she's mortally wounded xD amazing reply btw o.o)
Hailey opens her eyes slowly and wearily. Everything is blurry and coated in a shade of light red.
She can hear her mate calling but she is too weak to answer. Her body is covered with scratches and wounds, an ugly gash crossing from her neck to her belly, making everything throb in pain. Even breathing is a terrible effort. It's too much for her...
She can feel her paws going numb, her heart beating..but barely..
"Is this the end?" she thinks painfully. "Am I going to leave my mate and my children behind?...I can't...I can't..."
"ugh....Tasha....pups...Zion....can't leave you..." she groans as She slowly tries to lift her head, "zion..." she whispers, her head feels like a brick and she drops back into the dirt.
A shuddering sigh escapes from her mouth, she pants painfully trying to get more air. But soon she just gives up. She is torn, and broken apart, all she can feel is Zion's fur. a tear slides down her cheek.

Her mate...her pups...she doesn't want to leave.....

"Zion.."she forces herself to lift her head up and whispers again..."I love you...so ...so much...."
Her head drops one last time and cradles in his fur.
Her breathing stops...












The end?.......

Zion stared in complete horror at his fallen mate. he shakes his head "no.. No..." he shake s it faster "No no no! Hailey no DONT YOU LEAVE ME!" tears rushed down his cheek. he fell onto hailey bursting in tears " You cant die! i vowed i would die for you! you cant die on me!" he looked back and forward. left and right "Zion THINK!" he burst out again into tears. Tasha sneaking behind him slowly "M..Mother?" Zion turned ans growled "YOU! you could of helped her!!" Tasha stepped back with ears pinned in shock "You was here and you could of saved her!!" Tasha turned away witha tear in her eye " its my fault.." Zion let out a sharp bark to get her attention "No.. you didnt but help me! we got to get her to the den. she has to live! i know she will. Come here tasha help me pick up your mother! Aidan go back to camp and warn the rest to clear the den and fetch your aunt!" He turned back to hailey licking some blood away of her chest wound. "What did mother say about wounds.." he tryed to think fast. but instead he crouched low beside hailey. tasha pushing her mother over to him. and onto his back. Zion supported himself enough to keep haileys front end on his back. but her back legs on the floor still. tasha stayed close to zions side to support so hailey wont fall. Zion started to pace forward. ignoring the pain from the fight to hold his strengh. for hailey. "Go aidan! go warn the rest!"

“Momma…” Aidan whispers, looking at Hailey’s lifeless body…his ears flatten as he hears his father bark. He runs back into the woods into camp after what feels like hours.
“EVERYONE!” he yells. “CLEAR THE CAMP, GET AUNT STRAE, MOM HAS BEEN HURT!”
Lorra’s eyes widen in shock. Without waiting for anything or anyone, she dashes off into the woods looking for her aunt. Robbie follows her hastily.

Lorra smells her aunt, and finds her sitting next to the creek.
“Aunt..Aunt..Auntie..S-Strae…” she huffs, gasping for air
Robbie bursts in behind her. “Mom….Aunt Strae..hurt…help…she…bear…”
Strae frowns and gets up immediately. “take me to them! NOW!”
Lorra and Robbie run towards camp with Strae following behind.

Ivy’s ears perk as she hears her father’s howls. She looks around hurriedly gathering dandelions, cobwebs, anything that might help.
She rushes to meet her father, with her mouth full of herbs,leaves, roots, anything medicinal.
Tears spring to her eyes as she sees her limp mother. Barely holding onto life.
“Will she make it?...” she thinks to herself.
She runs over to Tasha and Zion, helping to lift her mother.

Zion didnt take notice of his pups. his Mind was Scrambled too bad he forgot he is walking. but He manages to lead himself with His mate on his back towards the den, Niky Looking up to spot her. his ears pinned back. but saying nothing. James Sittings behind him staring in shock "Dad..?" He called quietly but Zion ignored him, his eyes was staring down to the floor Hauling himself onward. his strength weakened from the bear but still pushing every single part of strength in him to go on. Walking into the den noticing how clear it seemed without the pups inside, His eyes returning to reality then Gently putting himself in the middle of the den lieing down. rolling over slowly so Haileys body gently fell of onto the floor. then stepping over onto her belly side and laying next to her. his muzzle resting on hers. Tears down his eyes. his throat tightened up in sadness unable to speak. Tasha stopped supporting outside the cave and was frozen staring. eventually being dragged back away from the cave from James. Zion licked across haileys muzzle, managing to fit out some words "Dont leave me love.. please.. dont.. you cant die here.. not on me.." He stopped and coughed out into crying

Tasha looked over to the bush beside the den hearing rustling. hoping this was strae to help.
