Max was near by. He saw his mother and howled saying, "Mommies dead!" He then ran to his aunt Raven and said, " My mommies dead." He sobbed.
Polar Bear heard and thought, "What?!" Mom's dead?" She wouldn't stop pulling the sled that she was hooked up to because she couldn't let her team down.
Free Bird was on the same team and she thought the same thing.
"Yeah. You're the only one that I love. As a family member." She smiled and nuzzled her.

Lucky didnt know that his mother was gone, dead, forver. He was srill running, he hasn't stopped once.He never wanted to stop running, cause if he felt if he did stop, his worries and problems would catch up with him.
Blossom heard what all Max said, and followed him. "Mom's..... dead?" Blossom asked slowly and sadly. This was the first time she had ever REALLY been depressed over something that diserved to be cryed over. "She cant be."
Ralph saw Snowy lay down and then stop breathing. He about did the same, but then he caught himself. He slowly layed down, and went so sleep. He had a great dream about him and Snowy.

Raven wanted to screamed "No!" But she needed to be strong.So she howled for her whole family to come for the funeral."Thanks for coming.." She said as she neetly dug a very large hole.
Eclipse heard the howl and almost stopped breathing "Your mom is-is-is dead..." She said as she ran off to respect her aunt and her mother greeted her with a snarl "You killed her!" She snapped, smeeling her sister's blood on her snout.
Shani ran towards the howl, tears stinging her eyes rapidly as she saw her dead daughter.

Patch kept thinking about this Balto character he ran into. 'He`s my grandfather?' He thought. He heard the message about his aunt Snowy being dead. "What, aunt Snowy is dead?" He questioned. Patch was now a fine young wolf and he was almost fully grown, he was pretty big for a runt, but he would always be a bit smaller than Eclipse.

Raven put her paw around her son as he cried "Yes!It is true!" She snarled as she shot a dirty look at Eclipse
Eclipse bolted towards her mother and tumbled her over "Shut up!" She roared as she clawed her mother's face.

Lucky whimpered. "I cant believe it...... shes......... shes....." Before Lucky could finish, he started to cry. He was whimpering, his tail no longer wagging, his eyes no longer had thoese loving glint to them. His eyes had a depressed, sadness glint to them, meaning he was very sad.
Blossom finished Lucky off by saying the word, "Dead." Then, Blossom started to do the same as Lucky, but a little more capible of trying not to cry. She noticed preety much everyone else is, so she let her tears come out and then she started to whimper loudly.
Ralph started down at Snowy's dead body. He was breathing deeply, but unsteadily. He felt as he was going to explode into a million pieces. Then, he started to howl, a howl that meant he was the lonleiest wolfdog in the world, and no ome could ever replace Snowy Owl.

Once Polar Bear and Free Bird were unhooked, they ran to the funeral, " Mommy's dead!" She said and nearly collapsed in front of the body.
Max did the same.
Free Bird ran to the funeral. She did the same thing.

Lucky sighed, and ran out of the cave they were in, and once he was out of sight, he started to cry.
Blossom wasn't imbarressed to cry in fornt of others, so out blew the tears.
