Floer was silent. She wouldn't, couldn't, say anything. She was so surprised, so shocked. What could she say? Nothing. There was nothing she, or anyone else, could do or say to make this any better. She let the tear roll freely.
"Mom?" Mara padded up to her mom and looked up at her sad face. "I'm sorry. Mom."
Flower nodded. She walked away, not looking down at her daughter. She was too sad to do anything. She walked to the middle of the woods and laid down on a rock, unsure of what to do now that she knew the truth.
Mara sniffled and looked looked at the ground. She wanted to comfort her mom, but she hadn't exptected for her to find out and was completely unprepared to do anything.

Luke went over to Mara and nuzzled her. "I want to help...is there anyway I can help Mara?" he asked. "You helpped me when I was sad and I love you so I want to help."
Jade sighed and walked over to Winter. "What do we do?" she asked. "Flower's heart is broken and part of me wants to break Midnight for this."

Winterfall sighed. "I'm not sure. But Ia gree. I do want to get Midngiht back for this but Luke's right. Fighting gets us nowhere." He clsoed his eeys and sighed again. "Anythign we can do, Mara?"

Mara nuzzled into Luke's fur. "I don't know what we can do. Unless my d-... Midnight comes back for her." Mara sniffled, hating not being able to call Midnight her father anymore.

Luke nodded. "I know Mara." he said. He'd let her seek comfort as much as she needed, he loved her so he'd do whatever it took to help her. "But we should at least talk to Flower, she needs comfort."
Jade nodded. "But they're togather and that seems to help them deal with it." she whispered to Winter. "Yes dear, can we help?" she asked Mara.

Luke pinned his ears and licked Flower's nose. "Mrs. Flower, please don't be so upset." he said. "I know this is hard but you can't let this break you, Mara needs you, you're her mom."
