Baltolover, a lot has happened, but I'll sum it up for you. So Zasshu's mate, Cheyanne, just recently did in a fight, and since Zasshu no longer has a mate, his eldest son Zach has been appointed the new Alpha Male. And we're just now starting out under the new rule of Zach.

Zasshu, Shinso, Markus and Rukii all set out to hunt, as were their orders. About an hour later, Zasshu and Markus dragged a young adult moose into the den, while Shinso and Rukii dragged in a mature adult elk right behind them.

Months later, Ghost was given, along Zach, triplets. Zach smiled at the pups. "Names?" He asked Ghost. "The one male over here is Bo." Zach nodded. "How about the girl's namemis Riley, and the other male, Sawyer." Zach had given them the names, nudging Sawyer.

Markus and Rukii howled in the distance, letting Zach, Ghost, and the pack know that they had returned from hunting, while Zasshu and Shinso dragged the elk.

A few months later, their pups were old enough to explore the border of the territory. "Daddy, my feet hurt.." Bo and Riley complained.. Sawyer rolled his eyes at his siblings. "Can we go back now?" Riley plopped down on her haunches. “Yes, we can head home now, it’s been a long day for you three, I’m sure.” Riley and Bo nodded, tails wagging slightly in agreement. Straightening once again, the large alpha started forward, back towards the caves. Sawyer was slightly disappointed in having to go back already, but followed obediently by his father. Soon enough his disappointment was spoiled as Bo started to try and get his brother to play, biting at his legs and tail, making little growling noises to try and engage his bulkier, quieter sibling. At first the silver streaked wolf shook his brother off, not really in the mood for play.


But when Bo surprised Sawyer, and tackled him, it sent them both rolling over each other. When they stopped, Bo ended up on top, being the lighter of the two, with Sawyer on his back looking up at his lighter colored sibling in surprise. But that seemed to cause the reaction Bo had been looking for, as the black and silver wolf pawed at his brother’s stomach, and biting at his legs until he was free. Darting off with Sawyer in chase, Bo didn’t get very far before being body tackled by the larger of the two. After tumbling a few feet, it was Sawyer that came up on top this time, smirking down at his brother. Bo grinned back, tail wagging. Suddenly a weight plowed into Sawyer, though it wasn’t enough to knock him over. Looking down, he saw Riley gnawing on his leg playfully, looking back up to him with her brown eyes. But that seemed just the right amount of time for Bo to wiggle out from under his bigger sibling and take off again after kicking some snow at him. Riley then giggled and ran off after Bo. Shaking the snow off his muzzle, the silver streaked black wolf gave chase once more, and once more quickly cornered the two.


I’ve got you now…” Hunkering down on the ground, looking ready to pounce, he paused at hearing something approaching him. Before Sawyer even knew it, Zach had charged up and tackled him, chuckling and pinning his son with a paw.

“Who’s got whom, now.” he watched in amusement as the younger under him squirmed and kicked, biting at his father’s legs. It was all play of course, Sawyer enjoyed rough-housing, but since neither Riley, nor Bo could match up to him, Zach often stepped up to fill in.


This is Riley, though, she's younger.

For the past couple of days, Zasshu had been lying down mostly, as he was not feeling well. Keehl, the third oldest son of Zasshu and Cheyanne (after Zach and Carlos), was the one who first noticed that his father had been ill for an unusually long time, and by this point was worried for him.

"Dad?" Keehl asked Zasshu, who was lying still in the grass. "Are you okay?"

Zach didn't pay much attention to his father, now that he was alpha, and had pups of his own, he had much more to attend to. Aspen, Zach's sister, trotted up alongside her older sister Carla. "Elk have been reported to be moving away from us, due to the wide range of hunters." Carla, the new HA female, bared her teeth slowly. "Send out the fighter wolves, hunter wolves, and the betas and deltas." Carla and Aspen nodded, both turning and slightly walking away from him. The sisters both started their jobs, Aspen howling and Carla barking at the same time.

Yes, I read it. I just couldn't think of anything else. There's occasionally those times that I just have a brain fart. Know what I mean? Lol

"Yes, son. I'm fine." Zasshu lied, as he was truthfully feeling very ill. "Go join everyone else like your brother Zach just ordered. I'm not well enough to go, so I'll stay here this time. But don't worry about me." Zasshu said, giving his son Keehl a fake smile, feeling like throwing up.

Keehl didn't buy his father's story, but his brother Zach was the alpha now, so he did as his was told and followed Zach's orders, going out to join the others.

Zach past on a little at a time. He sent out more hunting groups. One that needed his dad's assistance as well.

Zasshu stood slowly, trying his best to keep from puking. He had work that needed to be done. His son had ordered him to hunt with the rest of the group, and so he went off with the group to do as he was told.

Cheyanne trotted off, towards the river the curved gently around the den then became straight again. She bent down and lapped up some water. She turned back and walked over to the den, peering inside. Ghost was lying down, motionless, their pups in the corn of the den.

Zasshu, still not feeling well, trotted into the den, having just gotten back from the hunt with the pack.

"Cheyanne," he said to his mate. "We came back from the hunt. We caught a large moose and a female white tail." Zasshu saw that she was looking at something, then turned to look at what she was looking at. He saw Ghost and the pups, and Ghost wasn't moving.

"...Ghost?" Zasshu called out to her.
