The dog turned around, his warm brown eyes flashing with worry.
"Heya missy, you okay in there?" He asked.

"I'm fine." she said, trying to keep the sadness away from her voice.

The dog snorted. "Hah, you dont lookit." He replied.

"bite me." she growled to the dog.

"I would but someone already did, miss priss." He scoffed, turning his nose up at Latia.

Latia growled a little more at the dog then looked back away.

The male huffed, rolling his eyes and went back to eating.

Latia tuned out of everything, even her own thoughts, and slowly went to sleep.

A few months passed and the vet released Latia back into the wild.

Latia was happy, but also scared to be in the wild, and wondered where Abel was, if she ever came back. she found the place where she was attacked, still covered in blood, but it's all old, and frozen.

Abel had already known Latia was in the woods again and he trotted up behind her.
"You thought of me?" He said, knowing she did.

Latia jumped slightly and looked at Abel and smiled at him. "Yea."

Abel didnt smile back, just kind of stared.
"Why?" He asked.

Latia shrugged, "I don't know... probably that you are the only one of them that actually doesn't care really about me around."

Abel laughed quietly, and shrugged.
"Not in my nature to really hate.." He said with a sigh.
