Ruger nodded and said "If I was your father and you were your mother and I was masking who I really was, would you have mated with me?"

"Obviously.... well dunno."

Ruger nodded and said "See. Your mother didn't know who your father was until it was to late. So, no female would mate with that thing unless they had to or they don't know what that thing is. So, don't you DARE think you were an accident because you were NOT an accident."

Calico loweed her ears. "I promise I wont."

Ruger sighed and said while lowering his ears and swallowing hard "I'm sorry. You just made me very upset and you hurt me very badly when you said you were an accident, Calico. I am so sorry for everything." He lowered his head and looked down to the ground and sniffled.

"Its fine.... I'm sorry." Calico said.

((by the way dogs are pregnet 2 months not 6))

Ruger smiled and said "It's fine. Te important thing is that I will always love you, no matter what you do." He nuzzled her lovingly.

((i dunno maybe cats. but since its 2 months, when should calico have her upps?))

Calico's frown turned into a smile, and nuzzled Ruger back.

Ruger smiled and touched Calico's nose with his own nose while saying "I love you, Cal."

"Loves you to Ruger." Calico said.

Ruger's smile grew wider and he said "What do you want to do now? Anyways, do you remember me telling you that it will take 1 1/2 years until our pups are grown and we can get more dogs? Well, I thought it did but I was wrong. It only will take 1 year and two months. Sorry. How I know this is because I asked my mom once and she told me and I just now remembered what she said."

Calico nodded her head. "I have no idea what know? Should we go back to the cave?"

Ruger smiled and said "We could go back to the cave if you would like to, Cal. Two months. I can't wait until two months. Once our beautiful pups are born, we will be able to mate again. I would really like to go to the cave, so we could concentrate on the pups and ourselves and nothing else. That sounds good, doesn't it?"

Calico nodded egaerly. "Defenitly, lets go."
