Maria nodded in agreement. "I wonder when we'll see her next."
Yasko was wondering back towards where they were to meet. He had found no sign of Sonya anywhere.
Frida was laying down in the spot Yasko said to meet. Neither him nor Mammoth were back yet.

"You've seen Aniu?" asked Aurora, curious.
Max appeared as a bird above Frida. He pushed a can of pink paint off a roof, causing it to splutter all over Frida before he dissappeared.
Mammoth was also on his way to the meeting spot.

Frida yelped as she was covered in the paint. She looked around, but ther was no one around.

Mammoth walked up to Frida, starting to laugh uncontrolably.

Frida gave Mammoth a high-pitched growl, if that's even possible. She whimpered trying to rub off the paint with her paws, which was obvioulsy not working.
Yasko heard Mammoth's laughter and hurried towards that spot. "What's going on?" he asked before spying Frida and holding back his own laughter.

OOC: I think when she talked to Scout at the end of 'A Gift For a Hero', if not, just make something up.
"We're cold weather animals." said Balto. "We're built for cold but some huskies in warmer areas have their fur cut shorter to let them keep cool."
Max appeared back up on the roof and pushed two more cans of pink pain, one landing on Mammoth's head, the other on Yasko's.

"Well, it was last year after Grandpa Scout came home," Maria said. "I think it was a few weeks after. Anyways, I had gone exploring in the woods cause I was bored, and I didn't even telll Ana. I was still a puppy back then, so when a small blizard hit I was completely lost. I ended up walking the oppisite way. But Aniu found me and I followed her until I could see the lights of Nome. I spotted them, bounded toward them, turned around, and she was gone!"
"Hey!" Yasko yelled, shaking the can off of his head. He looked around, but there was only Mammoth and Frida around him.

"True, but I just like staying where the snow falls, its fun to play in." said Aleu.
"We get in trouble a lot, so that wasn't suprising." said Ana. "But she appeared to me when I fell in a hole in the woods and got stuck." she said. "She helpped me get out."
Max looked down and turned into his copy of Sonya's form. "Hey guys, you look good in pink." he said, copying her voice as well. "You'll never catch me." he said and ran off laughing.
Mammoth growled and tried to follow but couldn't get up onto the roofs.

Kodi chuckled. "Yes, that's another reason."
Just then the wave caught the log and dragged them onto the shore. A wave crashed over the dog. Canyon walked onto the shore and shook the water from his fur. "Everyone alright?" he asked to make sure that no one had been taken away by the wave.
"She knows when we need her," Maria said,
Yasko rolled his eyes at Mammoth. He hopped onto a dumpster, grabbed the end of a very escape in his mouth, and dragged it to the gorund. "Look, genius, Steps!" he said to Mammoth.

Aleu shook herself off. "I'm fine." she said.
Balto shook off his fur. "Fine with me too."
Ana nodded. "That's her job."
"You're luckily, Aniu was a great wolf." said Aurora.
Max watched. He went to the other side of the building, still disguised at Sonya, and held down a stick as a trap.

Kodi shook off his fur. "Not exactly the best landing," he said.
Scout shook out his fur. "I think we're all just fine," he said to Cayon.
Canyon nodded. "Alright. I'm pretty sure the town is this way."
"I wish she was still alive," Maria said. "Then we could all be one big happy family."
Yasko started up the steps with Frida right behind him.

Ana nodded but a large wave caught their log and ended up crashing into Kodi and the others. When it settled, Ana found herself landing on Kodi's back. "Uh...hi Kodi..." she said, smiling nerviously.
"Come on down, or are you scared?" asked Max, still making sure they didn't see his trap.

Maria fell forward at her father's paws. "Hi, Daddy," she said innocently.
Yasko growled at Sonya, but didn't trust himself to jump.
Frida walked over and tripped on her ears, stumbling forward and falling towards Sonya.
