Rosie, still shocked, only nodded again. She turned to her Father, looking at him for a moment, and then back to the wolf. She gulped.
"If that's true," Katie said, nuzzling Lena. "Then you and Tai will be wonderful Mothers when the time comes."
Kai blinked, surprised. "You-you did??"

"Thank you, and thank you for always being so kind to the little ones, it means a lot to me." said Lenatei.
Lena giggled. "Thanks momma, and we'll have you to thank for it!"
Tiga nodded. "Yep, and we wouldn't forget something that important."

Rosie's eyes shined softly, and smiled came over her mouth in a silent 'you're welcome'.
Katie chuckled, laying her head down slowly. The car was something else, she thought, a bit happy. She wondered though, if her father was following outside.
Goldie looked a bit confused. "I honestly still don't see why Bashkei refused to come with us... He even let Rosie touch him."
Kai went over, stumbling all the way, and nuzzled his aunt. "thanks."

Lenatei nodded nicely. She then curled up with her grandchildren, despite the fact they couldn't physically touch her.
Lena yawned. "I'm tired momma."
"IT's just he's got to ease into it, Goldie." said Fang.
Tiga nuzzled her little nephew. "You're welcome, Aniu's my grandma too you know."

Rosie smiled, and concentrated on the road in front of them.
Katie smield broadly. "Come and rest then, baby girl, we have a little while until we get home. And even then we have a lot to do."
Goldie nodded, giving a slight smile. "I understand."
Kai smiled and laid down, holdign his head on his paws. "I know. I just got worried, because I...wanted to bury them. For both my Grandfathers... And Mom."

"Tai, I want you to know something, I can talk to Rosie, because she's only a child, if you ever want to say something to her, I can tell her." said Lenatei.
Lena curled up next to her mother, happy to be back where she belonged.
Fang nodded. "When I came to Nome, it took me awhile to even get used to humans."

Tai blinked, eyes surprised. "Wh-what?" a smile came over her face though. "If it's true, I'd really want her to know how thankful Grandpa is to her, and how much Grandma Jenna loves her."
Katie very gently cleaned Lena's ears, placing one paw over her pup. She couldn't help but feel better now.
Goldie looked surprised. "But you always looked so natural."

Lenatei nodded. "Rosie, Tai wants to say that she's thankful for being so kind to Balto when no one else was, and that she knows Jenna loves you very much."
Lena yawned. "I'm glad we saved you momma..." she said, slipping into sleep.
Fang nodded. "Yeah, but you didn't know me then, right?"

Rosie looked back again, and to Tai, who's tail wagged softly. It made Rosie smile.
"I'm glad too." Katie said, grooming her pup as she drifted into sleep.
Goldie chuckled and shook her head. "No... But I think I have you almost fully figured out." she said, a cute smirk on her face as she laid her head on Cachen's back lightly.

Lenatei nodded. "She got the message."
"Good, now try to get some sleep, it's been a rough day you know." said Fang.

Tai laid her head down with a light yawn. "Good."

Lenatei nodded. "Alright, grand daugter, please try to get some rest."
"Yes, Goldie?" asked Fang.

"Okay.." Tai mumbled, and was asleep before her Grandmother could bat an eye.
"I just figured you all out." Goldie said with a tired giggle. "You're just like Dad..."

Fang chuckled. "Well me and Steele didn't used to have much in common, but considering he changed, things are diffrent."

Goldie shook her head, continuing to drift. "no...he was never bad..." she said, before finally drifting off into sleep.
