"Oh..Well..I think she means there are a lot of other people in the world, like...ther'll always be many fish in the river!" Shane said with a woof.

"But she laughed..i don't find it funny." he said with an annoyed huff.
"Who is this 'she' anyway?" Rochelle asked.
"A girl..but the river. She was standing in the water." he replied.

"Oh..was she fishin?" Shane asked, flicking his ears backwards.

Nickel shook his head. "No...she was just wading in the water. But she scared all the fish off."

"Oh..I'm sorry kiddo." Shane said with a sigh,

Rochelle paused, then couldn't help but ask. "Was she pretty?"
Nickel paused and didn't seem to want to answer. "..Maybe.."

Shane chuckled.
"You like 'er?"

And with that question, Nickel's face turned bright red. "No!" he quickly objected. "No, no! She's...i mean...She scared the fish away!"

Shane just laughed more.
"You sure? You're bright red kid."

Nickel dropped to his hunches, pawing at his face. "Am not!" he objected.
Rochelle just chuckled. "That's so adorable."

"Aww cheer up kid." Shane said, trotting over to Nickel.

Nickel huffed. "She's...mhph..i don't like her.."

"What's'er name?" Shane asked.

"She wouldn't tell me..." Nickel said, a bit annoyed at the whole ordeal. "When i asked she laughed and told me to guess...then threw water at me."

Shane frowned slightly.
"Hmm.."
