The woman said, sounding frustrated, "How long have we been tracking them John?! How long?!"
John answered quietly, "Seven years, Donna, but-"
"But nothing." she interrupted. "How much longer do we need to wait before we can finally collect them?!"
John shouted back, "Donna I told you already; once we know the full etent of their power and then find the leader with all the elements, we'll do it!"

"How have they tracked us for seven years?" Ellis wondered aloud. "We relocated to this town about three years ago."
John sighed and finally said, "Listen, we will take them in and graph their powers, but we need more time to see what they're capable of."
Donna growled, "It'd better be soon, John, or I'm sending out my own squad to collect them for you. I've trained my whole life for this, and you just want to sit back on your keester and watch them for a 'little while longer'? I don't think so."

Ellis widened his eyes at the radio, thinking about if they were still on the hit list.

Ellis nodded. "You're right." he agreed. "We need to tell everyone about this and get out of this town. Hopefully Damien's awake by now..."
John said, "Okay, so I'll have to let the boys at HQ know about this and run the search, alright?"
"Sounds good." answered Donna. "So this meeting's adjourned?"
"Yup, I guess so. Thanks for stopping by." Then, the CD stopped and the radio said 'END' in the digital letters.

Ellis followed Dymitri into the shop and placed a hand on Carmen's shoulder. "We need to get in the car." he said quietly.
Tara's eyes widened and her eyebrows furrowed. "I knew it," she breathed, "They're gonna catch us and stick us in cages and then kill us and use our skin as rugs!" her voice sounded genuinely shaken, as if she really thought it would happen that way.
"What's going on?" asked Carmen frantically.

Ellis escorted Carmen out of the shop and opened the door for her as she exited. "Come on eveyone, hurry."
