"About papa? How could something about papa be bad?" asked Luke, cocking his head.
"Luke...you know how the mean people left you out here because they didn't want you to be with me?" asked Jade, getting a nod. "Well they didn't want me to be with your father ether...they...they shot him...he's gone Luke...I'm sorry." said Jade, managing not to cry only because she had to be strong for her son.
Luke's ears went down. "No...please tell me you're joking." he said, tucking his tail betwenn his legs, he got a grim nod from his mother and burst into tears. Jade hugged him with her front paws and let him cry on her shoulder, she knew Luke had been so close to his father.

Witnerfall wanted to comfort hi but he didn't know what to say. He finally foiund his voice. "Luke, I know you still miss your father, you probably alwyas will, but you have to remember that you still have us. And your father is up there somewhere, watching over you. You're going ot make him very proud."

Zack walked up to Winter. "Uh what did I miss?" he asked, confused by Luke.

Mara nuzzled Luke. "Yeah, you still have us." But Mara was thinking about the day she thought her father, but decided not to mention it. The fact that he was alive and didn't want to return to them still stung her heart.
Flower made her way over to Jade and gave her a sisterly nuzzle. "It's better he know."

Luke returned his mate's nuzzle. "Thank you Mara." he said and kissed her. "I love you so much, that makes me feel better."
Jade nodded. "I still didn't want to hurt him but you're right, its for the best."
