[Balto, Complete] So wrong, but it feels so right [Part 1]

Dart paused, he then noticed something, he saw a dog through the hole, no ikt couldnt be was that..Slyth? He then saw Storm and Slyth and something clciked he growled to himself but just nodded at Blitz.

"Okay I'm ready" said Storm and he stood out, ANgel nuzzled him.

"Good luck"

Blitz noticed Dart growl and raised a brow at first, but then shook it off, thinking he was just being...well being Dart. She then turned to face Storm alone and began, "Okay, here's your first riddle. Forward and forward I go, never looking back. My limit no one knows, more of me do they lack. Like a river I do flow and like an eagle I fly. Now can you guess, what am I?" Blitz sat down, already somewhat tired from all the running around she'd had to do today already and awaited Storm's answer to his first riddle.

Storm thought as hard as he could, wha could it be he then had an idea.

"I have no idea....Im gonna have to have a free answer" he sighed

Blitz raised a brow at him and then nodded, sighing. "Alright, this is your only free answer. The answer is, time. And this relates to the challenge as a whole, because you have a time limit to complete the entire test. That time is by sunrise tomorrow since we got started kind of late today. Alright, here's the next riddle: While on my way to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives. Each wife had seven daughters, each daughter had seven sons. How many were going to St. Ives?"

Blitz sat there as she had and shook her head. "Nope, that's not the right answer. Try again." She watched his face, full of intensity and thought in the back of her mind, 'Perhaps I should've given him four life lines? Oh well, too late now, there's nothing I can do now that Dart's already agreed to it. I can't back out of this deal now, and neither can he. Storm could, by giving up, but he's too determined to join the gang. I seriously doubt he'd back out just yet.'

At his answer, Blitz smiled and nodded vigorously. "Yes it is. Very good! Now, for the task for this riddle. You need to go to the mill and get a sack of grain without the humans noticing you. Bring it back here to me in the junkyard and then I'll give you the next riddle." Blitz was actually pleased that he had answered that correctly, and thought she had made the challenge hard to encourage him to give up, she still was happy for him that he'd answered correctly.

Storm nodded and slowly wlake doff, he arrived at the old mill and keeping to the shadows entered.

Max watched as Storm walked off "i guess he got the riddle right which is ok i guess cause as long as he doesnt get the others right... because that means he could pass and get in the street dog gang i hope Blitz has harder questions....."then he poked his ear out to hear what they was going to happen next

Blitz waited for Storm to return with the bag of grain and glanced over at Dart, to see his expression. She wasn't sure what the dog thought of the test so far, but she already knew that it was going to take a good while before they finished at this rate.

Dart now kne wthe connection bewteen Slyth ex-street dog and Storm he grinned evily too himslef and thought of a cnning plan, just the Storm returned with the bag.

Blitz cocked her head, noticing the devious grin Dart now had on his maw. She was just about to ask him what had made him so devilishly happy but Storm had now returned with the bag of grain, so her attention was drawn back to him. "Well done. Alright, just set the bag next to me and listen to the next riddle. You are standing by a river with a 5 gallon jug and a 3 gallon jug, but you need exactly 4 gallons of water. Using only the two jugs you have, how can you measure out 4 gallons?"

While Slyth watched, he found some of the conversation going on was rather hard to catch. Straining his ears he tried to make sense of the small bits that reached his ears. Blitz was easy to understand though. It was storm that was hard to hear. Though he didn't necessarily need to hear his words to know what was going on. He seemed stumped by the first riddle. Slyth's mind immediatly went to something humans were always fussing about needing. Money. He frowned slightly upon hearing that Storm had made it to the second riddle. Shrugging he waited for the next riddle.

This one only got him confused, he tried adding the 7's together but it became too tedious. He was getting in the somewhat high numbers when he heard the answer was 1. He rolled his eyes at this and frowned. That was two down. Exactly how many she had, Slyth had no idea but he watched curiously as Blitz instructed Storm to go get the bag of grain.

By the time Storm had returned, Slyth began wondering what the time limit Blitz had mentioned was. However much time Storm had, he knew that storm had just wasted a great deal of it. Maybe he'll time out Slyth though hopefully.
