Flower had heard Luke and Winter coming. She went to greet them before Jade, Mara, and Yunfly did. Her eyes found the porcipine quills easily. Flower sighed. "What happened?" she asked in a playful tone.

"She's with me." said Jade, walking up. "I needed her help with something." she said and nuzzled Luke. "Hello honey." she said. "Luke, I have something I need to tell you...something that might not be very good but you have to hear." she said. She looked to Winter and Mara for some help in this.
Luke pinned his ears. "What is it momma?" he asked.

Mara wanted to tell Flower about Midnight, but realized it would just break her mother's heart. She decided it would be best for her not to know. She looked at Winter and Luke and Jade to make sure they got the message before saying, "It's got something to with you father, Luke."
Flower remained silence, not sure what to say to help Jade out.
