"Yeah, I want to save my auntie just as much as you do." said Aleu.
"What about you Kodi?" asked Balto, already knowing the awnser of course.
Ana yelpped as the quils were pulled out. "Why does this always happen to us?"
Mammoth snarled and started pulling Frida's quils out, though not being very careful.
"Nice to meet you to." said Max. "I'm quite a joker, I'm not a Spirit Guide, I've actuelly never been alive, I've always been a spirit." he said. "I'm what humans call a trickster spirit." he said. "I love to pull pranks on mortals but Aniu asked for my help keeping those mean dogs off your trail, so I decided, why not?" he asked. "And I thought a few laughs might be good for you, considering what you've been through."

"What do you think, Dad?" Kodi asked with a roll of his eyes. "Of course, I want to save her."
Maria plucked the last quil out and spit it out of the ground. "I dunno," she said with a shrug. "I guess it just has to happen to someone."
"Ouch!" Frida yelled at Mammoth. "That hurts!"
Yasko pulled the last quill from Mammoth hard and fast so it would it. He spit it on the ground.
"Yeah, it does feel nice to laugh again," Sonya agreed. She felt lighter and happier than she had practically her whole laugh.

Balto nodded. "We'll save here, have we ever not saved anyone?" he asked.
"Good point." said Aleu. "We've got quite the record."
Ana nodded, rubbing her painful face.
"Will this one do?" asked Aurora, having found another one.
"Oh sorry." said Mammoth, sacarstically and then pulled out the last one, alone with a chuck of fur.
"That's a joker spirit's job." said Max. "Its mine to make people laugh, even if its at other people." he said. "Watch this." he said, putting his paw on her forehead and letting her see what he did to Mako's dogs.

"I think there's a pretty good chance that we'll save her," Kodi said.
"I bet we'll be home before the end of the week," Scout added, feeling very confident at that moment, though it probably wouldn't last.
"No porquipines?" Maria asked with a smile. She walked over to Aurora and quickly inspected the log. "Perfect," she said.
Frida yelped and jumped up in pain.
Yasko pulled Zeus's last one with force, knowing it would be painful.
Sonya giggled as she watched what Max had done.

Max nodded. "I'm a prankster, just like your nephew actuelly." he said. "Dingo, he's quite the prankster himself."

Mammoth nodded, begining to look around.
"Alright, I think I should look like what you used to look like before the nice man cleaned you up." said Max, spining and transforming into a copy of Sonya before she'd been cleaned up.
