Fang yawned and woke up, he looked at Goldie. "Alright...whose the pretty little pup?" he asked, confused.
"Fang, this is Goldie, she's a stray I met." said Cachen. "Goldie, this is Fang, he's the son of a dog named Steele but he's nothing like his dad, he's really nice."
"Glad to meet you." said Fang. "You're a pretty little dog."

Goldie chuckled softly, looking up at Fang. She scrutinized his features, and her eyes widened. "Steele? Your his other son?" she smiled "I've heard a great deal about you, Fang."
Kodi blinked, looking confused. "How do you know about Fang?"
Goldie smiled. "His father told me."

"Did he say he disowned Fang?" asked Balto, curious as to what Steele had said.

Goldie looked down. "Well, usually it's nothing good-but he says he does regret a lot of decisions...He's really very kind now, believe me!" she looked up, ears pinned back. She looked at Balto. "He really is...and he always says to me 'if I could go back in time and change everything...I would.' Honest."

"Has he said much about me?" asked Balto. "My name is Balto, I'm Cachen grandfather." he said. "I'm sure you know me and Steele never exactly saw eye to eye."
Cachen looked to Goldie. "Steele...he and a wolf named Niju wanted to...force breed my sister Tai." he whispered in her ear.

Goldie's mouth dropped open and she looked pu at Balto in awe. "Y-you're Balto?! Oh, he says a great deal about you!" she leaned toward Cachen and shuddered. "Ugh..." she looked at him,disbelieving. "I think he's over that now." she whispered back.

She looked to Cachen, nodding. "He...took me in when no one else would. He protects me. He talks to me...he's like a Father to me. He's, well...he's the Dad I never had."

Balto nodded. "I wish he could, but a lot of people in Nome still don't trust him, they don't trust Fang due to what his father did."
"I understand...but I think...I don't want to move to quick, but we'll have to go before long so I want to say it." said Cachen. "I think...I think I...I'm...in l-lo-love with you." he stuttered, knowing in his heart it was true, hoping she did too.

Kai looked down and leaned over to Lena. "Perfect match." he whispered.

Goldie pulled away slowly, and looked up, blushing.
Tai blinked, sniffing for a moment. Her back was turned to Steele. She turned her head slightly and saw him out of the corner of her eye. She gasped. "Grandpa.."
Cain's eyes widened, and he looked to his Father.

Balto looked at Steele, he decided to see how he reacted.
Steele walked up to Goldie, snarling. "Goldie, get away from that mutt." he snarled. "You know I hate..." he stopped but thought about it, he had, even if he didn't show it, a real care for her, almost like a daughter, and wanted her to be better than he did. He knew Balto would be a better rolemodel than him, as much as he didn't like it. He snarled but calmed down. "Goldie, come talk to me over here." he said, sincerely changing his attitude. He walked a slight distence away.
Fang looked at Cain. "Cain..." he growled, he and his brother had never gotten along at all.
OOC: Could we make Cain the main antagonist instead of Steele? Since he seems more hostile than Steele at this point?
