Luke nodded. "I'm happy my momma came ot find me, she's a good dog." he said. He set down but slid down a small slope and his rear went into a hole, he jumpped out, yelping, he'd landed on a porcupine. "Ow...ow...ow." he said, whimpering as he looked at the quils in his rear. "Why am I so danger prone?"

Jade nodded. "Yunfly, Middnight is alive but...he's turned his back on us, he doesn't love Mara and Flower anymore." she said, obviously trying not to upset Mara. She turned to Mara. "Mara, now I need to tell you something I need help with...something about Luke...its really importent."
Luke nodded. "Could you pull some out now? It hurts to walk because some are in my legs."

Jade took in a deep breath. "I'm afriad that...that...Luke's...his father is...his father is g-gone...he was shot." she said, breaking into tears and falling on her stomach, putting a paw over her eyes and crying. "And I don't know how to tell him without breaking his heart."

A tear slid down Mara's cheek. "Oh, Jade, I;m so sorry," she said. She sighed. "I think you just have to tell Luke about his dad. It's just hirting him more not knowing."

Jade nodded. "I know...I just don't want to hurt him...he's so spaical to me..." she said, still crying. She suddenly looked mad. "Its all those no good humans of mine's fault!" she said, furious. "Why couldn't they understand I loved my mate? That I loved my pup? All they saw is what they thought was best! 'This is for your own good' they said, what do they know!" she yelled, not loud enough to reach Winter and Luke but still. She collasphed, panting. After a few moments she looked at Mara. "That felt...good, letting it all out...sorry if I scared you."
