Gen's eyes widened, and she quickly sprinted away, slowing down to see Cooper with his limp paw. She ran over and stood beside him as to serve as lean to. " Hurry!" She yelled and tried walking as fast as she could, mentally grunting when a box crashed against her side. She kept still and standing. " Try and move as fast as you can." She told him, quickening her pace.

Cooper hurried faster with Gen at his side. He was worried sick about Genesis, especailly when boxes came dangeriously close to or even hit her. Cooper pushed himself to hoble along as fast as he could, finally seeing the end of the alley. The boxes were starting to fall closer and he knew that if they didnt hurry it up, they would be literally burried alive. "Lets go!" he said, breaking into a full out run, using his hurt paw no matter the pain. He didn't stop to think about the pain until they were both safely out of the alley. Coop collapsed to the ground, unable to stand on his paw anymore.

The dingo mix chuckled half heartly as she layed down, somewhat shaken from the adrenaline. She let out a large sigh. " Pretty close. So close... close." She panted, her tongue sticking out from her golden muzzle. " What really happened to your paw..... by the way?" She turned her head to Cooper.

Coop stopped panting as he caught his breath again. "When we were running before," Cooper started to explain. "And you jumped over me. I tripped over my own feet. I think that was when it happened." He thought for a second before shaking his head. "Anyway, I thought it was nothing, but I must have landed on it funny." He shrugged. "Nothin' to worry 'bout."

Gens half chuckled half sighed. " Yeah, well, that paw almost got us crushed." She pushed herself up from the ground. " C'mon." She nudged the wolf mix, though barely gave any effort. " We need to go see someone." She began walking.

Coop hobbled along beside her. "Whoo exactly do we need to see?" he asked, his mind immediately thinking about his hurt paw and the vet. Street dogs, espeacailly half wolf dogs like himself, didn't do to well at vet offices.

" ... A friend of Mater's. That's my owner's name, if you weren't aware." The golden wild dog let her eyes dart around, before stopping and flashing a toothy grin at Cooper.

Coop looked down at Gen with suspicion, feeling that she wasn't telling him something. "So, you mean a human?" he asked. "May I ask why we are going to see this human?"

" Hmph." The dingo turned her head away from Cooper. " If I tell you it'll ruin the surprise." She muttered, raising her head and tail in dominance. " So, changing the subject drastically..." What was there to say?
