Tara sniffed and buried her face in Chase's shirt. "I already lost my mommy and daddy to people like that, I don't wanna lose you too!"
Ellis got out of his chair and walked over to the door. "Alright, let's go."

Ellis swung open the door and went out to the car. "Okay." he said. "I got the backseat." he opened the door and began to search around.
Tara nodded into his shirt and replied, "I love you, Chasie, I won't let them take you away!"

Ellis pocked up a pen from the floor and held it in front of his face. "This must be some kind of audio recording capcha, some kind of device to record our every heartbeat for their sick experiments!" he turned it around and saw the word 'Papermate' on it. "What could this stand for?!" he exclaimed. "This must be some kind of top secret code!" Obviously, he must've not known he was holding a simple pen.
Tara continued to hold on to Chase.

Ellis scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, must've been my imagination." he said. Then, something caught his eye. It was a small, flat, shiny thing wedged in between the seats, and it looked somewhat like a lens. "Found something else." he reported, picking it out of it's hiding place.

Ellis finally got the object out from it's place, but as he pulled it out it revealed there was a cord attached to it and running down under the seats. "Dude come look at this!" he commanded.

Ellis glanced at Dymitri and then back at the wire, pulling it out farther. He pulled at it until the wire gave him about six feet of itself, then it abruptly stopped and wouldn't come out anymore. "Its connected to something." he discovered.

Ellis debated for a moment, then handed over the wire. "Be my guest." he told him.

Ellis shrugged. "I don't know what could be under there." he admitted, playing with the frayed ends with his fingers. "Go ahead."
