Erin opened her eyes again, staring at a wall hopelessly. She felt drained. Dakot betraying them, getting captured in teh first place, and alot of stuff really. Her life sucked right now. Big time. She looked back around the room, feeling like she wante dto ram he head against a wall. She spotted a figure in the other cage, that looked like Cassie. She sat up a bit straighter, her eyes trying to decipher the image through the drugs that were making it hard to do even simple things. She looked closer, squinting through the bars. It was Cassie. Atleast knowing someone else who she knew was close to her felt better. Having to endure everything, alone, was horrible. But now, someone else. She leaned back against the wall again, stil tugging her hands apart, trying uslessly to free them.

"Erin," Cassie moaned in Cat, "Is that you?" She wasn't sure who else a large, black, catlike figure could be, but one could never know for sure. Both her heart and muscles ached. Something flickered in the were-lynx's tired mind. For just a brief moment, she wanted to kill herself. It seemed like just too much...Cassie wasn't sure how much more she could take.

Ben relaxed on the couch. It felt so good to be home. And yet...it felt like something was missing. What was it? He had, for the first time in 6 years, his family, a home, and no worries of being constantly on the run. And then, it hit him. Cassie. What he was missing was Cassie. He looked down at his dirty shoes, remembering all the two had been through on their long journey. Could that be over? Could Cassie be...gone? "Are you all right, Bernard?" Mrs. Robertson asked. "You seem troubled." "Oh, no. I'm fine." Ben mumbled halfheartedly.

"Yeah, it's me," Erin said. "You ok?" she asked, which was a stupid question. Oh well, she had already said it. She had asked whether CAssie was ok, when they were stuck in the one freakin' place that was their nightmare. She mentally smacked herself on the forehead. Her mind was clearing some, the drugs must have been wearing off slightly, but her speech was still slurred.

Cassie groaned. "Not really." Noticing that most feeling had returned to her body, she stood and stretched her legs, which where sore and weakened from the struggle. "What about you?" She glanced groggily at the panther, vision blurred with tire. She gave a few licks to her pelt, putting in more in line using her rough tongue.

In a small cell across from Erin, a blond haired girl hung from the cieling by her wrists. She groaned in fustration. She was sure she was hearing voices but they were getting louder. "Hello?" she asked weakly. She hadn't used her voice in weeks. She waited patiently, then got annoied. "Dakota, you better not be playing tricks on me again. You already caught what you wanted now let me go!" she wasn't aware that Erin and Cassie were there aswell.

Erin sat up, her gaze focusing on the blonde haired girl. "Who are you?" she asked, words hard to get out. It hadn't worn off that much. "I'm Erin, and this is Cassie," she said, gesturing in her direction. Who was this girl? At first, she was surprised about the girl knowing Dakota, but then she shook the thought off. She was in line with them, there wasn't a reason for the girl not to know Dakota.

Cassie twitched her ear and looked up. Morphing, she replied. "Dakota has a twin? Didn't know that. This is like something out of a novel." She sighed. This Jocelyn seemed fairly on the good side, but so had Dakota. Could she be...no. At least, she hoped not. Cassie hoped desperately that this girl was nothing like her twin.

Jocelyn smiled. "You seem to hate her. She got to you, didn't she?" Jocelyn said amused by the shock radiating off of the two girls. "We were originally vampires, Dakota and I," Jocelyn began. "But she..." she hesitated. "Got involved with these humans, these cruel people and changed what she was." Jocelyn looked up at the girls with her dark chocolate eyes. Except they were ringed with a rich crimson. Moonlight streamed in from the window as if to highlight her eyes to show the girls. "We were powerful. Both of us had abilities -special abilities- that no one can comprehend. She smirked, showing her small fangs. "The truth is, we're half human half vampire. That's why she changed. Her ego got in the way." Her face went blank. "But then she found me.... And contained me like an animal! Like a beast! And ingected this fluide call Bervaine -which apperently weakens vampires to the point where they can't move, only speak. She hangcuffed me to the wall and locked me in a cage! She left me without a soul to talk to for weeks! Maybe even more!" she shouted and began to shake violently, trying to ripp the handcuff off the wall but failed. "I'm half human... I have weaknesses..." she said a little higher than a whisper. She sighed and sagged as much as she could without hurting her wrists.

She morphed. "I feel bad for you, I really do, she get's to you easily, doesn't she?" Erin asked quietly, the events before bringing on a blind rage. And maybe a bit of sadness, but mostly rage. "I don't get how she could have planned this all, she couldn't have known about us leaving. She was trapped here to, or so it seemed, and then escaped with us. We were talking about our plans right in front of her, thinking her to be one of us," Erin said, wrenching her wrists again. At least she wasn't cuffed to the ceiling, dangling buy her wrists.

Sevrin smirked, as he heard the conversation, "IF i were at my full strength, then i wouldn't be here, i would've been able to get you guys out of here, but to bad i can't," Sevrin continued, "They will probably be here any moment, to.....kill me," he said, struggling to get free from the chains that binded him. "So Jocelyn was it?" he asked, "You've been in here longer than i have, is there anyway to break these chains, there has to be a weak link in these,"

Jocelyn smirked. "Yes, there is one thing." she said. "Vampire vemon, but unfortunatly, my venom count is very low because of the Bervaine in my blood stream," she spat at the word Bervaine.

"Dang," he then began to pull, grunting in pain as the chains dug into his wrists, he continued to pull the chains rattled. Sevrin opened his eyes looked at the chains, then pulled again, the chains began to strain and groan as he pulled harder, "Come on, this has got to work," he said, but the the chain stopped, Sevrin growled and began to pull down on the chains, more and more he pulled down. Just then the link that held the very top of his chains gave way and he fell, land on his hands and knee's. "Got it, now all's left is to get these chains off, and get all of you outta here," he then began to work the chains off his wrists, and then his legs, 'Hopefully they don't decide to come in here,' he said to himself, "Erin, Jocelyn, Cassie you ready to get out of here?" he asked them,

"Yeah," she said, getting up. "I dunno if I can run all that fast though, the drug hasn't worn off that much," Her speech wasn't all tha sllurred, but her muscles still felt heavy. She wrenched her hands apart, but the drug was still in her system, so she couldn't yet. 'Dang it, I can't pull mine off," she said, looking down both sides of the hall to make sure no one was coming. No one was, and hopefully wouldn't be for a while. She pulled harder, cutting open her wrists in the process. She stopped, feeling as if a dagger at slit her wrist. She let out a tight his, blood running down her hands. "Yeah, can't get mine off, still to freaking drugged," she spat, her wrists throbbing, her acceleretaed pulse making it seem worse. And feel worse, although it wasn't as half as bad as her bullet wound, which was almost healed. She healed uber-quick, they all did.
