"We paddle to the other shore and hold on with our life," Kodi said.
"There's got to be a better way," Maria said, looking around for a better idea to hit her.
The rain was making it nearly impossible to even see. Frida sighed as she just wondered through town, not really looking anymore.
Yasko hurried into town to the most likely spot Sonya would be, the east side of town. It was the closet place to Mako;s. Yasko looked in alley's and behind trash cans and under dumsters, any place a dog might hide from the rain.

"Alright, so everyone, get on but we need to balence outselves right so it doesn't roll." said Aleu.
"Are you chicken sis?" asked Ana, good naturedly.
Aniu had several other Spirit Guides helping her, she was a higher ranking Spirit Guide actuelly, being she was responsable for her family and Aleu's pack as well. A Spirit Guide in the form of a Porcupine was in one of the places Yasko looked and smacked her in the face with his quil-covered tail, he giggled.

"And we have to hold on tight just in case it does," Scout said. "Who knows how rough the waves are today."
"No," Maria said calmly. She really wansn't afraid at all. "But that does seem to be the more difficult way."
Yasko yelped as the quils covered his muzzle. He ground, laying on the ground in an alley waiting for the pain to subside.

Aleu nodded. "So is everyone ready?" she asked.
Ana nodded. "But it looks like the only way at the moment."
The spirit laughed and vanished before Yasko could look again.
OOC: Could I be a mischievious spirit that Aniu called to help distract Mako and his dogs? His true form would be a Coyote.

"As ready as we're gonna be," Kodi said.
"We'll have to wait awhile for them to get really ar ahead of us," Maria said. "In open sea, if they looked behind them, they'll see us for sure and make us came back here."
Yasko looked under the dumster but the porquipine, though he had never seen it, must have disappeared. Yasko walked over to the west side of town to wait for Frida and Mammoth. One of them would be able to pull the quills out.

Kodi, Canyon, and Scout got on the log, balancing it out.
"We should at least a few minutes before going after them," Maria said. "Once we're on land, they can't send us back. We'll be too tired to swim back across."

Kodi held on with one of his paws, using the other three to paddle, same with Scout and Canyon.
"Lets find a nice tree branch while we wait," Maria suggested.
"Frida must be rubbing off on me," Yasko said.
"Hey! I heard that!" Frida shouted as she walked over to met them, triping several times on the way.

A Porcupine stuck its tail out as she fall, causing her jaw to land on his tail. He laughed and disappeared again.

"I think we should go to a familer soar," Conyon said. "So we know where to came back to and find this log again. I remember the town was small and near the water. If we walk along the shore we will find it no matter where we wash ashore."
Maria looked around, but none of them were big enough or light enough to carry them across the water.
Frida yelped as the quills dug into her bottom jaw, She looked around but the porquipine was no where in site.

"Good idea." said Balto, smiling. "Lets hurry, I want to save my sister as quick as possible."
Ana found a log. "Found one." she said, looking in it, then yelping. She jumpped out, porcupine quils in her nose.
Mammoth laughed but then jumpped, yelping, porcupine quils in his hind end. The porcupine disappeared again.
Aniu nudged her son, trying to wake her. "Sonya, there's someone I want you to meet."

Maria ran over to her sister. "Are you okay?" she asked worridly.
"That cannot be just any porcupine," Yasko said. "It moves to quickly."
"Like it matters," Frida said. "We still have quills stuck in our skin."
Sonya yawned herself awake. "Who?" she asked.

"Porcupine." said Ana, turning to show a face full of Porcupine quils.
"Let's just get the quils out of each other." said Mammoth.
The Pocupine appeared in the room but changed into a Coyote. "Hello." he said, still laughing from his pranks.
"This is Max, he's a mischievious spirit." said Aniu. "He's singlehandly responsable for people's legends about polterguist."she said. "He's not a spirit guide but he loves to play pranks and as you can tell by his laughter, Mako's dogs just recieved some."

"Oh, here, I'll help you with those," Maria said, pulling one of the quills out with her teeth.
Yasko nodded and started to pull the quills from Mammoth.
"It's nice to meet you Max," Sonya said. She giggled slightly. His laugh was very intoxicating and you just had to laugh along.
