Luke looked around. "Momma, it sure is a lot warmer here." he said, shaking his fur.
Tina nodded. "Yeah, it is."
"We're in Alaska now, we were living in Russia, which is colder cause its more to the north, we're further south now so its a good bit warmer." explained Aleu. "It still gets cold but this time of year its warmer in Alaska than Russia."

"Not for good." said Aleu. "I've got family back in Russia too, and I couldn't leave the pack." she said. "I do want to visit a lot though."

"Max look out!" yelled Aleu, Max ran into a Porcupine because he hadn't been looking were he was going.

The porcupine seemed to ignore him and walk past him but then looked back mischeviously and wacked him in the rear with its barb-covered tail, sticking a bunch of quills in his butt before walking off.

"Oh poor baby." said Aleu. She licked her son's head and nuzzled him. "Alright, I'm going to have to pull out the quills, it might hurt a lot."

"But if I don't get them out, they'll get infected, then they'll really hurt and you'll get sick." said Aleu. "Now try to stay calm." she said. "It'll feel a lot better after they're out, I promise." she said and licked her son's head. She then went to pulling out the quills as fast as she could to save her baby some pain.
Tina nuzzled her brother to try to calm him down.

Soon, Aleu was finished. "There, better?" she asked, licking her pup's head.
"You ok bro?" asked Tina, concerned for her brother.
