Well, we've had yet ANOTHER topic created to whine about how terrible things are here now ( http://baltosource.timduru.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=9653). People ARE trying to work this out (the ones who really care anyway), and people are TALKING about it.
Steet has SAID he's going to take steps to try and bring some semblance of RESOLUTION.
I'm tired of hearing people whine and threaten that they're leaving. Pff. GO if you're going to. Or stay and help fix it. ENOUGH with the poo-pooing. It's getting pretty danged annoying. And I REALLY don't care (and I suspect a lot of others don't either).
That topic should be locked immediately. I think we've all heard enough whining about "ooh, people are so mean, they're ruining what used to be such a good site!" And I think any further whiny posts about "I'm leaving...boo hoo" should also be freakin' LOCKED or DELETED.
We can waste bandwidth (or watch it be wasted) reading post after post about leaving and the various "don't go...gosh, maybe I should too" responses, or we can talk about making it RIGHT.
I, for one, am not going anywhere unless no resolution is reached. For now, I'm content to put my faith in Steet and those who REALLY want to see the problems fixed. And I'll do my part.

I believe you should really read the messages before post. If you read the last pages, you would notice that there aren't many useless posts such as "ohh dont leave plz im so sorry", but now we're talking about Balto forums in general (heck yeah! Even if you think it's impossible, a debate has born even without you!). So your post is totally clueless, as you don't even know what we were talking about. Also, has Steet ever said that leaving topics aren't allowed? Is that in the rules? I don't think so. And if you care of the database size, go complaining about the Forum Games. If you don't like these topics it's your problem, not ours. am not the only one who's grown sick of hearing people whine (or taking criticism for pointing it out, incidentally). Drew justifiably locked that topic I referenced, and said pretty much the same thing I did. And good on her for it. I'm glad I've seen a chance to have the same opinion as Drew, for a change.
If you RE-READ my statement, I wasn't referring specifically to recent posts in this topic, but primarily the topic I PASTED IN. However, since this topic started out the same way, posting this here had great relevance to the discussion.
But you. You just HAVE to find a reason to differ with me, and criticize my posts, don't you? What's up with that? I haven't done that to you...not once in this topic, and not for as long as I can remember. I may have responded to your posts (where you criticized or debated with me), but I have NEVER gone looking for your posts so I could criticize you or beat you down. And so it goes...  And it is allowed to continue, unabated. This is a PRIMARY problem with this site, and one I've pointed out both openly, and privately to Steet, on more than one occasion.

Read the first message again, and you will notice that it made lots of good points, and the leaving bit was only a part of it, not the main one. In fact, now the topic isn't about it anymore, but it moved to a more intresting debate. And if your posts wasn't about this topic, you should haven't posted here, as this isn't a leaving topic anymore. Why didn't I see this before? I say "white", and you say...

Maybe locking isn't a good solution. Because when a topic is locked, the members who got into the fight keep their anger into them instead of letting it out, so one day or another it will come to another fight.
