1. I am familiar with the amount of work involved in doing such artwork. How would you know what I do and don't know about such things?

Then you lost me, and it just reinforces my statement about purile tactics by certain members of the fan art community.

3. I wonder when I ever said I cared what they do with their art "on God's green Earth". I could care less what they do in their private lives.

4. Yeeeeeeeeeeeees, reproducing a copyrighted property IS a copyright violation. Especially since so many of the artists have, in many cases, simply reproduced poses taken from screen shots of the movie itself.

Well, first of all, you need to make up your mind about this. First you say that Drew's right, that I AM defending those who "steal" artwork (and there you go again with purile insults), and then you accuse me of being unable to make up my mind! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! And as I said to Drew, I never defended art theft...I HAVE condemned the activities of artists who lay threats they cannot enforce (such as one MySpacer I know being threatened with banishment from Balto Source if he doesn't surrender the images he "stole". I really don't give a ***** what you think of my opinion, it still stands. Threats are idiotic...ESPECIALLY when they cannot be enforced). I never said that artists trolling around on MySpace looking for those who "stole" their artwork is wrong. I said that the tactics of some of them, and their friends, IS. And any way you slice it, threats are idiotic. Period.

Well, art theft is a pretty complex topic that often bring wars. I see the same kind of thing happening on the french side. As for myself, I would have probably closed this topic too, because I see no point in it. The reason is that everyone who has posted in this topic is closed minded on that subject, so there's absolutely no way it could have gone anywhere.

Besides, I still don't see why you created this topic, as it seems you're not really an art stealer. I don't really understand, but really, I can't understand how it would be possible to defend people who steal artworks. I know that many don't even know they are doing anything bad when they do this, but it's still a wrong thing so that can't be defended.

Finally, I would say that Pample does not post her art on the site herself anymore, because of all of her art stolen...She has been disgusted and the same thing is happening with Cat. I hope you can understand this.
