Numerous times. Practically ruined my social life, to be entirely and drastically honest.
Let's just say... middle school, jealous jerks, and Balto do not mix.

My mum just laughs whenever I watch any kind of animated movie, or when I buy a dvd ... I bought Swan Princess last week and my family were teasing me all the way to the till :P
Im proud of what I love, most of my freinds know and I get a rough time sometimes especially when we have sleepovers and im told not to bring any of my movies ... its the whole animation kid movie sterotype ..if im honest I hate it
Most people just say .. well thats what you love and get on with their lives, but some just like to tease me about it once in a while
Well I love Balto! It might not be about vampires or have attractive men in it .. but at least I know what a good movie is! Anyone who thinks bad on animated movies has bad taste and are a tad shallow XD

Well, no. I've never been given a hard time about balto, and why should I? Just because i'm at a young adult age, but i like a kids movie doesn't mean i should be give a hard time, though i'd understand the poundings you'd get if you had the sequels, those ones are REAL KIDDISH more for really young kids, i'm talking 0 to 7 of age

My brother, at times, regards my sister and I oddly because of it.

Although, he's beginning to move out of that "stage" xDD

In the past when I went through a phase of going through Balto I remember being riped off about it, now I have learnt not to tell them about it this time to save the embarrassment, I don't even like telling my friends but hey what you going to do?

The only time I ever got any kind of a hard time about it was when my roommate saw my dvd while looking for something to watch in my collection; and he gave me a look and said "Balto?" in a weird tone. But fortunately most of my friends know I love it, and not only do they not give me grief over it, they'll also talk and joke about it(in a good way).

I don't see why anyone should be given a hard time over a classic, such as Balto. Not to mention the fact the movie is based on an actual story. I won't lie though, I do tease myself every now and then for taking ganders at it, and trying to look at possibilities that could have occurred or would have occurred after the movies. Ah... Curse my oddity.

being a fan of balto has gotten a bit hard to do in life

No. Because I'm not obsessed with it. And people just don't care if I like it. I was bullied for my love of Harry Potter in middle school, but never for Balto.

Nope. The only reason someone would be given a hard time about Balto, or any other movie, is because you're a obsessive fan.

I keep my obsessiveness over any movie to myself.

Is is ever difficult to keep it that way?
I'll always try to bring up a movie I enjoy and make a conversation out of it

Why would it be hard to keep to yourself? Now if a topic comes up that is related in some way to your obsessions then it would be pretty understandable to bring it up, but if you just bring it up out of the blue moon and immediately start asking what others think about it, then I think you're going a little overboard with wanting to share your interests.

(I'm not saying you are.)
