"You bet!" Radhi said quickly before launching herself at Rakhi.
"Wait Radhi!" said Taji. "We haven't chosen playfighting. We all need to decide on a game."
But Radhi couldn't stop in time before she collided with Rakhi. "Oh, sorry Rakhi!" she said apologetically. "So, what do you want to play? Tag? Hide and seek? Hide and seek tag?"
"As long as I don't get pounced on by my sister, it's fine. You choose Rakhi!"

Tafari looked outside the story cave and watched his friends after Taji had his back turned towards Tafari,Tafari began to creep forward and got down on four paws his muscles tensed. Tafari looked at Radhi and gave her 'don't even think about it look' and then leaped up in the air, ''Taji, I'm going to get you!'' He roared his roar was still cub like but he didn't care because he was having fun. Tafari then landed on top of Taji and pinned him to the ground and growled playfully while looking at him in the eyes. Tafari's eyes showed a hint of playfulness and all the adults were chuckling at Tafari and Tafari's mother Bahati who was laying on a rock rolled her eyes playfully.

Rakhi smiled. 'Nice one!' She then looked at Radhi. 'What about tag?' She asked, and then quickly touched Radhi and moved beside. 'You're it!'

Kensai had found Tani and stood watching him and Tafari and the girls play. He twitched his tail and sighed. He felt like an outsider sometimes.

Radhi quickly pounced on Taji and he became it.
"Wait!" He called. Everyone was so much faster than him. Then he saw Kensei looking sad and away from the group. He walked slowly up to Kensei then pounced. "Tag! You're it!"

Moto watched with a blank face, then noticed him breathing hard. "You said you hadn't practiced them in a while. You've most likely become out of shape," Moto said. "Why don't we try to make it easier?" he asked. He crouched down, just as Ubora had, then eyed a plant swaying in a slight breeze, made brittle by the drier weather. He leapt forward and gave a swipe, crackling the plant before dodging behind it. "Trust your instincts to guide you. The best way to attack your enemy is without him even realizing it," he added, coming back towards him.

Ubora took his stance again. He closed his eyes and let his instincts guide him.His paw lashed out and cut the air in front of him. When he opened his eyes again, he saw Moto nodding.

"Very nice," he commented, bringing his tail around to curl it over his paws. "Now, time for some defense. Not every threat is going to announce itself to you," Moto said, standing up. "You always need to be prepared. So, show me what defensive moves you know," he added, narrowing his eyes to study Ubora closer.

Tafari ran after Radhi,''So whose it?'' He called and stopped almost bumping into Radhi. ''Oops, sorry Radhi.'' Tafari said and got up shaking his fur from dust and dirt.

Ubora pictured a fearsome lion coming for him. He kept himself low to the ground, keeping his head down and throat low, throwing in an occasional swipe here and there, trying to remember what Moto taught him earlier. He stopped and said "I feel more confident in defence. Where I came from I was teased about it, saying that defence is for lionesses protecting their cubs, not for males protecting their Pride." He paused.
"I don't think there's anything wrong with defence!" said Uhuru as she walked up to her mate. "It's saved our lives a few times!"
"That it has!" Ubora nudged Uhuru with his paw. "Please go, you're distracting me."
"Fine." she said, with a smile.

Meanwhile, Radhi stood over Tafari. "You got me dirty!" she shouted. "I'm not it, by the way. I pounced on Taji, like this!" and then leapt on Tafari. After a bit of rough and tumble, Radhi got up and sat down. "Where have the other's got to? she asked.

Back at Pride Rock, Amani was looking worried. She hadn't been feeling right all day, but whatever was wrong was something good. She decided to ask Busara.
"Busara, can I have a word?"
"Wanting today's report, your highness?" he said with a smile.
"Maybe later, I need to ask you something." She glanced round to the other lionesses. They were ignoring her, but still she felt uneasy. "Alone."
"Why of course! Let's wander in the Pridelands."
Busara led the way out of Pride Rock and down to the savannah. "What is it you needed to ask me?"
Amani described her feelings and her thoughts. She tried to answer an additional questions made by Busara in as much detail as possible. Soon, they arrived at the waterhole.
Busara looked out into the water. He felt so pleased with the news, but he couldn't help feeling sad that he couldn't have this feeling with his own mate Moyo. However, he buried his thoughts and turned back towards Amani. He noticed Bakari on his rounds in the distance. "Wait here Amani, Bakari needs to hear this too."
Amani watched as Busara ran towards her mate in the distance. She kept thinking about Busara's thoughts on this thing and why it was important for Bakari to hear this too. Then she felt the comforting presence of her mate and all doubts left her mind.
Busara sate down once again, panting slightly from the running. "King Bakari, Queen Amani, you are going to have another cub."
Amani closed her eyes. She couldn't believe it! She was pregnant again! But then she panicked. What would this mean for Taji, Kensei and Radhi? Then she heard Bakari's delighted roars and she too became elated.
"Everyone! Everyone! There will be a new royal cub soon! Amani's pregnant! I'm going to have another cub!" roared Bakari as he ran all the way up to Pride Rock.
Amani followed behind, slightly slower. She looked towards her King and smiled. She saw him face her and their eyes locked. Bakari walked slowly towards Amani and they nuzzled. "Congratulations, my love." he whispered in her ear.
