Lizzy looked over at the male lion. "Are you sure?" she asked. Then she turned to Lucy. "Oh yeah, my name's Lizzy by the
way. What's yours?" she asked.

Lucy." She nodded. " nice name Lizzy!"

Neyjaki nodded."Yes,My mother Queen Kiara has been wanting more lionesses in the pride..To be my mate for some reason.."Neyjaki looked behind him to make sure nobody followed him.

Kudan followed Romy, one eye-brow raised, and his claws ready. What did Obbler want with him?

Allin nodded at Rosie. 'We could win this battle, Rose. And free Jafiya and his queen, if only the lions would stay and stop joining Obbler.'

He shook his head, his eyes half-closed.

Rosie frowned sadly. "I will never join Obbler even it I am killed for it..." She sighed looking up to her mate.

Obbler beckoned to Kudan with a deft flick of his tail. 'Come, Kudan. I want to make you an offer.'

'You have worked well, as a captain I believe, for Jafiya. But now he and Queen Jet are lower in rank that a servant's cub, and you are even lower, if you continue to side them.' Obbler spat these words, as if they tasted foul.

But when the Emperor spoke next, it was in a strangely warm voice. 'Your rank will be high if you surrender as one of my lions.'

Safi smiled warmly. "All lions are welcome...." She said heartwarming. "Except them." She spat out.
Lily growled "no sweetie!"

Kellie wasn't that far away looking around frowning

Lizzy smiled. "Thanks, you too, Lucy!" She looked up at the male lion.
"Why does she wants more lionesses in the pride just so one can become your mate?" She asked.

Allin smiled and licked Rosie's head. 'I am proud of you, dear.' He said softly.

Kudan sat infront of Obbler and Safi, he half-smiled and his green eyes glinted.' You are very kind, Obbler,' he said, as politely and clear as he could, it was hard for him not to choke on the words 'kind'. 'But...No. I would rather have the lowest rank on earth and stay with Sir Jafiya and Queen Jet, then have the highest rank there is.'

Rosie sighed "thank you Ali.."

Safi frowned.

Lily smiled proudly. She was hopeful fir Jet and Jafiya despite the problems

Obbler's face twisted into an ugly expression as he tried to hide a disappointed grimace under a fake smile.
'Well then,' he managed to say. 'Well, then, my dear Kudan, so be it.'

Obbler beckoned to his trusty servant Snarl. 'Fetch me Jet and Jafiya,' he said to the faithful lion. Snarl nodded and stomped off towards the Queen and her mate.

Romy sat beside her mother, and waited with pity churning within her. She felt so strangely sad, she just wanted to go and play with little Sula. But as the Emperor's daughter it was her duty to remain.
