Jasper nodded. Great, now he was alone! He stood up and walked over to the forest, padding in slowly in hopes that he might find some game to do. He looked around and smiled, putting his paw on a tree and leaving a bunch of scratch marks. Jasper kept walking in the forest until he found a small puppy, wondering where on earth this pup's parents were. He smiled at the little female puppy, talking to her. He knew that puppies were a lot of work, so he decided he'd leave the pup there or to leave her there and come back with Trell. He shook his head and continued walking, the pup following. Jasper knew this wasn't good.

Skylar saw Jasper and a little pup following him.She smiled and walked away....She knew he hated Skylar so she just kept walking away from the packs territory away from everybody.

Jasper told the pup not to follow, that he wasn't going to adopt her. Of course it hurt the pup's feelings but she understood, she bounded away. Jasper sighed deeply and ran back to the pack. He ran into the den and lay in the back of the den. Trell was in the front part of the den still asleep. Jasper lay his head down and slept.

Skylar saw the little pup and ran back to her.She picked her up and carried her back to her den.Caring for her and feeding her.She could tell the pup was only a day old so had to have the pup nurse.

The male wolf noticed his Alpha shivering and, hesitantly, Maximus lied down close to Twilight and placed his head on top of hers. After a while he readjusted his position, scooting closer to Twilight in order to keep her warm.

Ghost then walked further into the stream and stopped where the water reached just above his ankles and closed his eyes. If nothing would disturb him at this time, the white wolf would be able to successfully contact the spirits.

Calypso returned to the pack only to see that there was nothing very interesting going on. Jasper and Trell were there but she didn't want to talk with them because she was never too close to the wolves. Turning, Calypso spotted Maximus and Twilight curled up together and disgust filled her mind. Choosing a girl over friends she thought and shook her head before trotting off.

Twilight smiled and nuzzled him.She licked him.Grooming him.Twilight smiled and turned to Calypso....She stopped and stared at her for a minuet.

Maximus smiled warmly at Twilight and returned the favor when she stopped grooming him.

Calypso hadn't noticed Twilight looking at her since the wolf's back was to the Alpha. She kept a steady trot toward her den where she climbed in and lied down.

Twilight smiled and nuzzled him.As it got darker she didn't want to move.She looked at him then at her den."I think we have to go,"she sighed.

"No," Max said softly and then gently licked Twilights paws. "Stay with me?"
The whole scenario wasn't like him, but Max didn't want this night to end. He hoped Twilight would reconsider and stay snuggled up close to him.

Twilight smiled and snuggled closer to him. She nuzzled him and looked into the night sky.

Successful, Maximus smiled gleefully and lied his head close to Twilights paws.

The shaman huffed and opened his eyes. They were glowing green again, but this time, the color was more intense. He exhaled shaky breaths as he received a vision from the spirits of the forest.

"Uh...s-sure," Max stammered and stood up. He waited for Twilight to lead the way. Of course he knew where her den was, but ladies first.

Twilight smiled and got up and walked to her den.When they were there she laid down and snuggled up with him.

Max sighed happily and closed his eyes as he nuzzled Twilight. Right now, Maximus was sure he was the most happiest wolf in the world. Hopefully moments like these would last forever.

Finally, the green faded from Ghost's eyes and the wolf blinked a few times, still drawing shaken gasps of air. He tried everything in his power to try and forget the horrible image he had received and desperately prayed that he was dreaming once again. He soon caught his breath and slowly backed out of the water and onto the dry, leaf-covered land. Ghost turned and headed back to the pack, all the while, he still tried to push the image out of his head.
