About Hiccup's scar...
1) Maybe when he was little he was being silly hugging a sword
2) He set up a bunch of new fireworks, the ones that go PEEEEOOOOWWWWW... WEEEHHH... and in your face.
3) Some guy thought he was a dummy and practised swordfighting on him.
4) A yack was deployed into his face ( Gobber said! )

Here's a story I just did about Hiccup's scar:
How to Train Your Dragon Mini Story

This is the story of how Hiccup got that scar on his chin.......

It was a peaceful night on the little isle of Berk, when suddenly a Monstrous Nightmare and 20 other dragons attacked Berk. While Gobber (The blacksmith) ran out of his house and to the Blacksmith shop to ready weapons for the battle, Stoick and all the other vikings started to fight. Stoick was the chief of Berk, so when there was a dragon attack, he was in charge. You see, dragon attacks happen rather often on the isle of Berk. Ever since the vikings first sailed to the island, the vikings have been defending their livestock from the dragon raids. The viking tribe call themselves the Hairy Hooligans.

When Hiccup, a rather small viking, ran out of his house to see the havoc wrecking everywhere, a Monstrous Nightmare blew a shot of fire towards him. Just in time Hiccup ran back into his house, slammed the door shut, and leaned against it thinking of how close that was. The fire came through the sides of the door and illuminated Hiccup.

Hiccup was the one viking that stood out in a crowd. He was small, scrawny, and just plain different. He’s never killed a single dragon, not to mention put a bruise on one. He isn't brawny, like Stoick the chief, nor strong, like Gobber. After the Monstrous Nightmare had lost interest in the small boy, Hiccup ran out of the house and through the village.

"Get back inside!" Yelled a viking while Hiccup passed.
"WHAT ARE YA DOIN OUT LAD!?" Yelled another.


Hiccup ran to the blacksmith shop and grabbed an odd looking tool. He ran to the middle of all the havoc and lined it up like he was going to take a shot. Hiccup can't lift heavy things, so he usually spends his free time inventing things that do the job for him.

He lined up the shot and WHACK!!!! The ax that shot out of his contraption hit a Nightmare right on the head. The Nightmare was unharmed as the shot didn't have a lot of force, but Nightmares are hot heads, and if you hit a Nightmare and it doesn't drop dead that instant, be prepared for a fight. All the villagers and even the dragons stopped in mid-battle to see the Nightmare look straight at Hiccup. Hiccup gulped hard, then took off running as the Nightmare followed behind him.

The Nightmare almost immediately knocked Hiccup to the ground, and locked him in between his huge, long claws. Hiccup flinched as the Nightmare took his free claw and scratched Hiccup's face. Just when the dragon was about to finish off the boy, Stoick jumped in and fought off the Nightmare. Stoick had hurt the dragon's wing, so when it flew off it knocked over one of the huge and extremely tall fire poles, which then fell down off the small cliff the were on, down onto the next, and next, and next, hitting vikings the whole way down.

Hiccup stood up and watched the pole fall down. "Ah!" "Ow!" "Ey!" the vikings screamed.
"Uh, sorry…dad….again." Hiccup said to Stoick.

And that was the story of how Hiccup got a scar on his chin. So next time Hiccup tries to fight a dragon, he’ll have an official Viking scar.

Hmm ur story is a lot like the intro of the movie....

yeah I agree with DragonArmy, and don't think thats the way he got that scar...

How Hiccup Got His Scar Theory Two:
Hiccup sat down at the mess hall, but realized he forgot a spoon for his stew. He went back to the kitchen to get one. On his way back, he dropped it, and in the process of reaching his hand out to grab it, caught his fingernail on his face.

I got $100 from my Grandma for Christmas, and wanted to spend it on tickets for it, but when I checked the tour places, they said they were gong to China. Do yo know if they'll be back in the USA afterwards?

no, im not sure, the wbsite says that they're done with america and now head to china...

I am going to get all the books, the art of HTTYD, and a poster. But I checked and I figured out I would have enough money left for the tickets. And I can always buy the merchandise, but not the tickets.
