Sophie hesitated as John opened the door of the van and announced their arrival at Section 13, but she felt a lot more comfortable after being tucked under Dev's arm for the entire car ride. She quickly followed Dev out of the vehicle, taking his hand gratefully to help herself down from the car's rather tall height. She glanced around at all the expensive-looking models of cars that seems to glint even in the fluorescent lights of the parking garage. "Can we know why we are here now?" she patiently asked John, who had so far been the nicest out of all their escorts who were climbing out of the front seats of the van to gather around the three teens and John.
Ooc:// BTW, I just noticed Hype's comment about Nessa and Dev being old friends and I just wanted to finally respond and say YES! haha

John turned to look at the three teens, before he gave a nod to Sophie. "I realize that you three don't know me.. or any of my associates, but we know you... Well, of you in better words." John began. "You three are very special, and you don't have to beleive me now, but you three will learn soon. Call me crazy if you want, but please hear me out. Last year, we encountered a yound man named David. He refused to tell us his last name, his age, where he was from... just to call him David. Now, usually no one from the outside world is welcome here in section thirteen.. but David was different. The poor boy was going mad, atleast.. that's what we thought at first. When he first came to us he just seemed like your average nut... but then he began telling us that he was being watched... visited? He began to become obssessed with whatever was "visiting" him... he called it "Mr. Malum Unum"-"
"-Malum Unum? That's not a name, it's Latin..." Griffin interrupted John who smiled.
"Smarter than you look, Pretty Eyes. What's it Latin for?" The agent asked.
Griffin had to pause and think, he hadn't taken his Honors Languages class in forever. "...Evil One..." Griffin answered almost inaudibly.
John nodded slowly. "Yes... David became convinced Malum Unum was out to get him, and to take over the world. In his last days with us, be began chanting nursery rhymes.. Ring around the Rosey being his favorite... He hung himself not even two days later. Rest his soul. We found this note in his room though, if I may.." he pulled out a faded peice of paper from his pocket and began reading.
"He's here... He's here and he's watching. I appreciate the kindness of the people who work in this facility. They've been so helpful. They've listened. But I'm so tired. I don't want to fight anymore. So, for who ever finds me: FORGET ME! Make sure this note reaches the hands of someone important. Section 13's best! Once that is done, you can attend to me. Though it will be too late... I don't want to live like this anymore. I write this while he's watching. Watching and grinning at me... Let him grin. He doesn't know what I do. I know he can be stopped: and I know who can stop him...
Follow the music to where the people mass. Three against one, evil triumphs last. The elemental, swift and calm. Controling earth's power, here the hero belongs..." he paused to look at Dev before continuing. "...Then a girl, pretty and smart. Timid and shy but ferless at heart. She'll prove to be a sheild in the darkest of night, a beacon of hope.. a glimmer of light.." his eyes then moved to Sophie before he continued. "..Then finally, though his role seems small, his destiny be clear, like a painting on the wall. Sharp at tooth that glimmer bright, behind blue eyes.. a beast ready to fight. With the heart of a wolf, and courage to stay, his growl will unboubtably keep evil at bay.." John finally look to Griffin before he finished reading. "So this is my plea from beyond the grave: Find these three. They can help us. He doesn't stand a chance against them... Please... Find them.. ~Davey"

Ooc:// Trying to get this rp back on its feet... Bic:// Sophie stared at John, unblinking, as he explained their situation. For the most part, his words didn't sink into her mind at all, and she was left more confused than she had been during their van ride. As he read through what sounded like a list of three different people, she realized that it wasn't a coincidence that he looked at each of the three college kids at a certain time. So that made her the 'shield in the darkest of night?' What did that even mean? If she had been watching this scene play out in a movie, she would have thought that the strange man was attempting to tell them that she, Dev, and Griffin were some kind of... heroes... but that kind of stuff just doesn't happen in the real life, right? "So that means..." Sophie prompted, hoping that John would offer some more explanation than just a vague, rhyming letter from a crazy guy. Sophie had been so distracted by John reading the letter that she hadn't noticed the other two agents who had come with them rush back down the road they had just come from, talking rapidly to each other. -~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- Vanessa had slowly been getting closer and closer to the dark van, but just as she thought she'd be able to at least get beside the vehicle, it took a quick turn towards an ominous group of buildings that looked empty and abandoned, but Nessa had a hunch that they were most likely heavily guarded. Her suspensions were proven correct when the van she was following was stopped for a moment be a carefully hidden guard before the vehicle disappeared into what looked like a parking garage. Nessa parked her car for a moment, thinking about what to do now. There was no way she would be able to follow the van into the parking garage, and maybe it would be best to just go home anyways. They were police after all... But a mix of curiosity and suspicion drove Nessa to inch her car slowly towards the entrance of the building. Just as her front wheels entered under the roof, not only did the guard stationed there start to approach her, but two other people were jogging down form where she guessed the van had gone. Of course, she should have expected that the drivers of the van had seen her following them, but she had hoped that she might have gone unnoticed. She debated playing nice and calmly opening her window like she was supposed to, maybe she could reason with these people or at least get some sort of answer to why her friends were taken, but as the three frowning faces got closer, she knew she'd get no where by acting nice to these people. She'd have to figure out some way of finding her friends herself.

ooc//~ Good idea, Rose!!
bic//~ Dev stared at John, eyes narrowed, jaw set, and fists clenched. What was this guy thinking, pulling three college students out here and reading them some stupid note, was he out of his mind? "So what does this have to do with us?" Dev demanded, noticing as well the look the gave each of them. His words rang through Dev's head The elemental, swift and calm. Controling earth's power, here the hero belongs... "Are you expecting us to be your heroes or something? The least you could do is explain to us," he demanded. Realization setting in, he knew the three of them were apart of something big, and he didn't like the sound of it. Little did Dev know that his best friend was on the verge of finding them, and maybe helping them escape this madness.

"I guess..." Sophie said tentatively, not sure if she believed what John was saying but if it turned out to be true, she didn't want to be the one to walk away from something so amazing. "I mean, I don't see any reason not to." -------------------------------- While the three authorities walked closer and closer to the car, Nessa inconspicuously flicked the button to open her sun roof. Luckily, all three gathered around her car door window, probably to prevent her from running out the door. Before the got too close, though, Vanessa quickly stood up on her seat and practically flung herself out of the opening on her car roof. She skidded across the surface and landed a little roughly on the hood, but she managed to land her feet on the concrete ground even though she had to use her hands to steady herself in a crouch. She jumped up from the ground and made a sprint towards the place the two officers had come from.
