"Well, I guess that figures," Rufus shrugged, "I shoulda realized that!" he glared at James, "You should be muzzled or someting..." After this, he laughed slightly as he put his arm around Bailey, "Well, off through these tunnels!"

Bailey nodded to Haley, "I hope we do..." she shuddered with the thought of what would happen if they didn't find the others, or a way out. Looking at Rufus, she murmered, "I'm kinda scared... don't tell anyone though..."

Misty nodded towards Rose, "You're right... Let's ask the others which way we should go first, though..." She absentmindly tried to dust off some of her clothes, but it was mainly in vain.

Dev chuckled nervously and shoved his hands in his coat pocket. "Well," he started "I guess we should start walking? Or do you think trying to make a dent into this rock wall will help us?" he glanced at Cale, looking for answers that he probably wouldn't have. "I can't believe you guys left with you me," Dev said all of a sudden in a joking tone. "Haley didn't even suggest to wait," he continued, trying to lighten the mood. Suddenly, a couple of the rocks from the pile that was just made fell to the ground and made Dev whip his head around to see what happened. He looked up and saw a small gap at the top, near the ceiling of the cave.

Haley grinded her teeth together at James's comment, using all of her self restraint not to say something or do something she would regret later on. She chuckled a but at Rufus's suggestion of muzzling James, the tension scrucnhing uo her shoulders relaxing just a bit. "Now there's an idea," she muttered as she continured walking at the head of the group, feeling a but uncomfortable leading but not willing to back down now.



Rose nodded at the two of them, turning around and heading back to the four way split. When she reached it, she went straight into the tunnel they had originally come from, retracing their steps back to the first room they had entered nearly an hour ago and started down the path Haley, Jedi, James, Bailey, and Rufus had gone. It didn't take long to reach a caved in dead end. Rose gasped at the sight, completely stopping in her tracks. She hadn't expected to be separated from the others. "Oh no," she whispered, unable to say anything else.



Cale shrugged at Dev's joke. "We were all excited to get going into this cave. I guess we shouldn't have been so anxious." Cale chuckled at this bit of dark humor, wondering if perhaps they had waited for Dev, they might not be stuck right now. Cale had no idea how postponing their exploration by a few minutes would save them, but he still couldn't let that thought go. He finally snapped out of his mind at the small tumbling of rocks that slide down the pile. Cale remained frozen for a few moments, staring at the tiny hole, almost thinking it too good to be true. He glanced at Dev quickly before running to the pile of rocks. The hole was just out of reach of Cale's stretching fingers. "Dude, get over here. Let me give you a life up!" Cale exclaimed, already down on one knew and ready to hoist Dev up to the hole.

Jedi followed at little ways behind Hayley smiling at the comment about James. He looked at his feet and noticed a rock. He kicked it a little ways ahead of himself, then walked up to it and kicked it again, repeating it. He started humming to break the silence hopeing it would cheer the others up.

Rufus nodded at Haley, "Of course!" he kept walking with Bailey for a while, his arm still on her shoulders.. "That tune sounds nice," Rufus smiled at Jedi.

Bailey nodded at Rufus and Haley, "It is a good idea," she said in a soft voice. Turning to look up at Rufus she asked, "When we get outta here, I'm gonna hug the ground so much! I mean, I'ma tackle it!" she laughed.

Misty glanced at Rose, her face crinkling with worry. "Do you think we should go off in a different direction again?" she thought for a moment before adding, "Is there any way we can mark the trail? So we don't get lost if we get turned around somehow in the cave?"

Dev glanced at the hole, then back at Cale, then back at the hole again. He let out a slight grin and narrowed the space between them. "Alright, let me know if I hurt you!" Dev said as he planted one foot on Cale's knee and grabbed the rocks. He stood to his full height and was able to see through the hole. He didn't see anybody on the other side, so he started to yell. "Hales! Rose! James! Rufus! Guys! Where are you?" he prayed that more rocks wouldn't fall at the echoing of his voice. "No ones out there Cale," Dev breathed in a slight whisper. "Should I start pulling rocks down?" he asked.

Ooc:// Don't forget to check the map! I'm pretty much done with it. It will give you a good idea of where everyone is and where your character can go.

Bic:// Haley smiled over her shoulder at her friends, grateful for the happy mood. Then some a strange, out of place sound reached her ears. It must have been a voice, but the odd things was that it sounded like Dev's. But it couldn't be him... could it?

"Did you guys hear that?" she asked the others as she stopped walking and strained her ears to how the voice again. This time, it was louder and shouting their names. There was no mistake; it was Dev! With excitement, and no clear thought, Haley raced down the tunnel, following the echo of her best friend's voice and calling to the other's over her should to follow her. But her pounding feet shook the walls of the caves and caused yet another rock slide to tumble down on to the path Haley had just run, separating her from the others. She tripped on a rock that slide on her foot, the only thing that drew her attention to the collapsed wall. If she hadn't fallen, she probably wouldn't have noticed she couldn't get back to the others for a long while.

Gasping loudly, Haley scrambled back to her feet, her heart torn between staying and trying to make contact with the others again, or running ahead to where she knew Dev must be. Her brain was completely ignoring the rational thoughts that kept telling her there was no way Dev was down in the cave and that she must be hearing things, but she turned around and sprinted down the tunnel again, praying that Dev's voice wasn't a hallucination.

As she ran passed another break in the path, Haley started to loose hope that she would find Dev or that she had even actually heard him in the first place. Her pace slowed as she rounded a bend, ready to turn back to find the others, when she finally spotted Cale and Dev. She was too shocked to move for a moment and watched as Cale grunted out a reply to Dev that moving the rocks sounded good to him if it meant Dev would get down. Haley noticed why Cale was desperate for Dev to get down since Dev's shoe was digging into Cale's knee. The two boys hadn't even noticed Haley standing there because there were so focused on the stone wall. Haley giggled at the two of them, finally catching their attention.

Cale nearly dropped Dev when he heard a familiar chuckle from behind them, but when he spotted Haley, he did drop Dev. Cale didn't even apologize as he stood from the ground and tumbled back down from a crap in his leg. He winced as he fell on the ground, his cheeks tinted pink from embarrassment.

Haley shook her head at the two of them, walking over and holding out a hand to each boy on the ground. "You two are such trouble," she said with a sigh, but she couldn't stop smiling while she looked at them. She didn't even wonder why Cale wasn't with Rose, Scotty, and Misty or why Dev was in the cave in the first place. She just wanted to hug the two of them before she had to worry about the others that she had left behind.



"I don't have anything," Rose said with deafeat as she turned back around and retraced their steps again to go back to the four way split. She didn't mean to ignore Misty's idea, since it was a good one, but she felt so down right now all she wanted to do was keep walking. She stopped at the room with four directions to go. In front of her was blocked, as was the path behind her. So it was either left or right. Not really caring, Rose went down the left tunnel.

From somewhere down another path, there was a small crash that reminded Rose of something tripping or falling. The force was enough, though, to loosen some dirt from the path she had just turned down. Another wall built up from the collapsing stones and Rose dove out of the way. She grabbed at the person nearest her, which happened to be Scotty, and dragged him down with her. When the dust settled, Rose squinted at the wall but didn't stand up. She sighed with the upmost gloomiest as she looked around and realized that the stone wall had separated Misty from Rose and Scotty. Misty was alone.

Appearance: Drew is a lightskin, young hispanic male with broad shoulders and a often shaved head. His hair is dark and almost always cut short. Drew has dark eyes. He has muscular arms and is about 6 feet tall. He is tall for his age but his dad is 6"5 and his mom is 5"9. Drew is thin but had a strong build.

History: Drew grew up most of his life in Mexico with his homies. A few years after Drew was born his mother and father realized what a horrible neighborhood they lived in and decided it would be better and safer for Drew. They moved to San diego and found they loved it there. Soon Drew became of age and left home, heading to this country. Drew likes it here so far and has met a young man by the name of Scott and a young girl by the name of Haley so far. Drew is making many new friends.
Personality: Drew is a funny and smart guy who can be friends with almost everyone. He likes having things go his way but can respect other's ideas. Drew has a great work ethic and loves animals. Scotty staggered back when Rose pulled him out of the way. Without thinking, he pulled Rose close to try and protect her from the debris, just instinctivly. Then when the dust cleared he blinked and looked sheepishly at Rose blushing softly. He backed away and looked at the wall, to stunned to speak.

OOC: Misty looks like she's going crazy... I guess I would too tho...


Bailey's eyes widened as Haley ran down the cave's path. "Wait!" she called to the girl, but she ignored her. She shuddered as the tunnel collapsed behind her. "Do you think she's okay?!" she turned to her best friend.

Rufus frowned slightly, "I don't know..." he looked at James and Jedi, "Hey, James didn't mess up, for once," he whispered to bailey, trying to lighten her mood. "I think we should head down this tunnel," he pointed to a tunnel nearby.

Misty became extremely scared when she noticed she was alone in the cave. "I guess we-I mean I- will mark the trail then..." she said shakily to herself. She picked up a solid-looking rock and scratched the cave's wall with it, "There..." she started to walk down a tunnel, every now and then marking the wall again.

"Cale, this is stupid," Dev grunted as he noticed how he was making no progress. "No one even heard me! How dumb is that! How can anyone resist a voice like this..." he joked and grunted again. "I'm not hurting you am I?" He asked too late. Next thing Dev knew he was face first on the ground, dust flying everywhere. "Jeez Cale..a little warning next time?" he asked as he glanced up, noticing another figure standing there. "Hales?" Dev gasped in confusion. He jumped up right away and wrapped his friend into a tight hug. "You heard me!" he breathed in a raspy voice and smiled as he hugged her tighter.

The last think Jedi could remember was Haley running away then a cloud of dust. There was now a solid wall infront of them. "this is just great." he started "I guess the only choice we have is to go down that other tunnel." he walked over to the tunnel which was much smaller than the one they planed on going through. "This one is a tight squeeze guys, but I think it's manageable. So we'd better get a move on it." he felt skeptical about this tunnel and it being small didn't help him either. He hoped that they could get out of this one safely.

Haley laughed full-heartedly as she was swept off her feet by her best friend. "Of course I heard you," she said between giggles, her spirits soaring on a new high that had her completely oblivous to the fact that they were still stuck. And when Dev finally put her back down, she reached a hand down to the Cale, who was still on the ground from tripping over his cramped up leg. He smiled up at her, shaking his head at her giddiness but chuckling as well. He clutched her had and let him pull him up, but as soon as he was on his feet again, Haley suddednly slunked to the ground as he right ankle gave out with a stabbing pain.

She gapsed as she fell to the ground, really feeling the thob of her ankle for the first time. She cursed under her breathe has she realized she might have sprained or even broken it. In her excitement to see Dev, the euphoria had numbed the pain. Realty came crashing back down with the stinging pain, and she barely heard anything the boys said after she went down.

Instead, she simply stated, "I must have hurt it when I fell."

"Fell?" Cale asked with an arched eyebrow. "When do you fall?" Then, after a pause. "And where are the others?"

"We got separated," Haley explained shortly, not going into anymore detail. "And I should be asking you the same thing. Where's Rose and Scotty and Misty?"

Crossing his arms and imitating Haley's scowl, he replied, "We got separated."



Rose's pulse raced when she realized how close Scotty had pulled her into him. She could barely make out his face through the dust when he carefull stepped back from her and faced the wall. Clearing her head with a shake, Rose glanced at the wall that now separated them and Misty. "I hope she'll be alright," Rose said in a soft face, obviously not believing that they could help her in any way.
