Sauda nodded. "You may have tried, and my stupid brother might have probably deserved it, but you were the best playmate I had, before we were separated."

Sauda looked at the look in his eyes. "I know, but you were the only cub I could really play with besides my siblings. And you were also the only male cub who could wrestle like that. Sure Uhai's alright, but he never fights like you do."

"You're welcome." she said. She opened her mouth to say something when she heard pawsteps. She turned around and Alonzo looked at the bush over her shoulder. Out of the bushes, Chaka led a party of lionesses. Among them were Shani, her sister, and Akili, Chaka's best friend. Sauda was surprised to see him and opened her mouth to greet him when he puffed out, "Mom and Dad are on their way."

Before Sauda could answer, Chaka turned to Alonzo and bared his teeth. "Did he hurt you?" the lion growled and lunged at Alonzo. "No, he didn't...." Sauda tried to stop her brother but he was already battling Alonzo.

Sauda couldn't bear to watch this anymore. Blinded with rage, she flung herself at Chaka and bowled him off Alonzo and stood staring at him, growling. "Sauda? Wha..." he began to say but she cut him off, not caring that her parents just showed up. "How could YOU!?" she yelled at him. "He was one of my good friends as a cub." "But, you only met him once." Chaka argued.

Chaka and Sauda ignored him. All of the brown lioness's anger was aimed at her brother. "You know he wouldn't do anything to me." she growled at Chaka. He was at a loss for words. Then even he turned angry. "You wouldn't know an enemy when you see one, Sauda." he growled. "Some queen you'll make."

Sauda stepped in between the two males. "I can fight my own battles, thank you very much Alonzo." she told him. Then she turned to her brother. "If Mom and Dad chose you to be king, the entire kingdom would crumble." she attacked him. "You just want to attack any lion you see, without knowing if he or she is a friend or not."
