Hirizi looked away. She certainly wasn't going to be any friendlier to him if she had been a hyena. "Come back and live in our pride again." he said, hopefully.

Hirizi was taken aback, and couldn't move. then he smiled and nuzzled her back. When they broke apart, Hirizi could see love in her eyes. "Let's go back then."

Hirizi felt like his chest would burst with happiness. He now knew that the cub he had been friends with was still there, but was there something more than friendship between them?

Faraji came up and Hirizi introduced her to the rest of the pride too. When their meeting was over, he went and sat outside, basking in the sun.
