In Ponyville, everypony knew about the elements. He would've thought that at least ponies as far as Manehatten would've known about them as well. The thought of the snotty upper-class ponies made him angry. "Hmph." He thought. "Let's see them keep their hot shot composure if disaster strikes again and the famous six aren't around to save their tails!" He was brought out of his thoughts by Sherlock's next question, to which Swamps started giggling madly. The earth pony had to smother his laughter in a hoof to keep from laughing uncontrollably. "Actually," He said with a laugh, "none of us ponies in Ponyville knew much of anything about the Princess. We never even gave it much thought after sh- I mean, Nightmare Moon, was defeated. Until last Nightmare Night. It was for a while, truly THE scariest Nightmare Night ever! ...and also the silliest. The Princess wanted so bad to fit in with us, but it wasn't as easy as she thought. She tried playing games, and going along with the traditions of the beloved holiday, but ponies were still scared of her. It upset her greatly, and she at first declared that every Nightmare Night would be cancelled forever!" He paused a moment to roll his rock out of the way, and start on moving another before continuing, "It wasn't until Pinkie Pie, our element of laughter, brought to light how much FUN it was to be scared! And that she didn't disrespect our Princess Luna, but was more or less... thanking her. Everything fell into place after that. The Princess started to scare the little ponies, not out of anger, but with a playful air. And everypony did have fun. Making it the best Nightmare Night, EVER!"

"I'd heard something about her coming to Ponyville on Nightmare Night, but heard nothing more of it sense then," he continued, looking over to his friend. "But I can certainly understand, there's just something about a good scare sometimes that makes you feel good." "I like Nightmare Night, even if I get scared kind of easy," said little Ladybug, still keeping vigilant. "But my big sister spends most of it locked up tight in her cottage, she's doesn't like being scared one bit," she continued, thinking about what had been told to her. "She met Luna that night, Luna needed lessons on keeping her voice down so it didn't scare anypony else. She said it was really scary, but she was sorry if she'd offended Luna at all." Sherlock nodded, dividing his attention for a moment to record this new information. "I see, that's certainly interesting," he replied. "And thank you all for the information," he said with a bow, then looked to Frost. "If you think its bad here, you should see the nobleponies in Canterlot, they know even less, except for Fancypants, who I have had the honor of meeting on one occasion," he explained as they continued moving the rock. "He said he finds Ponyville rather charming and tries to follow Celestia's example of connecting with ponies of a lower class than himself. A wise fellow."

I got major writers block. >.< Swamps pushed a rock aside before turning excitedly to Ladybug, "I LOVE getting scared! So much so Nightmare Night's my favorite holiday! Frost isn't to big on it though. Such a buzzkill." Ignoring Swamps and his rambling, Frost turned to Sherlock. "You don't say. I heard Rarity talk about him once. Everything she said was good, and I guess I know why now. If only more upper class ponies would learn from his example." As he pushed another rock aside, it looked like they may finally be about done.

As the path was finally cleared, Sherlock nodded, looking to him. "I agree, he was very polite and treated me quite well, but I didn't know he knew Rarity, last I saw him was months ago, before Discord escaped. Though I think that Applejack's Aunt and Uncle Orange were rather polite as well. They're certainly proud as can be to be related to the Element of Honesty." He looked back at the cleared path. "It looks like we did it," he said, which got cheers from the assembled ponies who'd worked together to clear the path. "I don't think there's anything friendship and working together can't do." "It sure saved Equestria twice," said Ladybug, fluttering her little wings slightly to get to the ground and running over to her friends. "Well actually, about five times isn't it? I lost count..." Sherlock smiled and looked to Swamp. "Any other stories about Twilight Sparkle? I know she's Princess Celestia's apprentice, the tabloids made that clear before the papers did," he said, giving a shudder. The tabloids didn't like Celestia and often said mean things about her, her taking a filly as her personal student didn't go unnoticed. "Not that I believe those rags, it's just hard to miss the full page pictures on the covers while buying a newspaper."

Swamps agreed joyfully with a quick lashing out of his front legs. "Hehe, I'm not sure how many times actually myself..." At Sherlock's question, Swamps stood and thought a moment. Tapped a hood to his chin and looking at the sky before his eyes grew wide and he laughed. "Actually, I do know one that's... pretty good." Frost looked at him suspiciously, "You don't mean the one with the plush do you?" Swamps laughed harder than ever, "Oh, yessssssss!" He gasped, "I do indeed!" The pegasus rolled his eyes at his friend and smiled. Well, you can multitask. Let's get going again. Since the path is clear, most of the other ponies that had worked together to clear the way had moved on and left us in their dust. And I believe a little filly is anxious to meet someone in Ponyville." His eyes shot to Ladybug quick then back at the other two. The earth pony gasped and replied, "Quite right, dear friend!" Then turning to the little pegasus pony he asked, "Care to ride in the cart? I would be happy to give you a lift." He lowered his head in offering to help the little filly back into the cart if desired.

"Wait...What?" he asked, confused at the mention of a plush of somesort, that was an usual thing to hae an entire story based around...He then nodded. "Yeah, tell me on the way, we should get moving if we want to reach Ponyville before Hearth's Warming Eve." Ladybug nodded, climbing up on Swamp's head like she did before. "I can't wait to show Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle my Cutie Mark!" she said happily, getting a confused look from Sherlock. "Oh, these three fillies in Ponyville my big sister got me to be pen pals with. They're always trying to earn their Cutie Mark and so was I...I hope they'll still be my friend now that I've got mine."

Frost said landing inside the cart as Swamps lowered his head for Ladybug to jump down and join him. "Those girls aren't the type to shun a crusader. Didn't matter to them that you lived so far away did it?" "Frost makes a good point." Swamps said with a warm smile to their little friend. After slipping back into the harness, the earth pony walked beside Sherlock to tell him another riveting tale. "Did you know that Twilight Sparkle has to relay a message of something she learned about friendship to Princess Celestia? Preferably once a week, but Twilight was unaware of the 'preferable' part. When she almost missed a week, she about lost it. She went to her friends first, hoping that they might be able to help her with a message to the Princess. But they thought she was over-reacting. Twilight was certain she was going to fail though for not 'completing the assignment'. In her desperation, she pulled out an old toy of hers. What did she call it... Oh! It was 'Smartypants', or something of the sort. Hehe, speaking of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, she thought maybe she could use the plush to get the CMC into a fight over whoever would get it. But... the beloved childhood object wasn't viewed as such by the three fillies. After being discouraged by it, Twilight decided she'd make them fight with a spell. Causing whoever looked at Smartypants to fall in love with it so much that they would do anything to get it for themselves. That backfired greatly as more and more ponies got involved and made quite a mess of things and got in huge fights. Thankfully Princess Celestia herself showed up. Causing the problem to go away as everypony who had once had greed in their eyes go their separate ways and not think twice about the plush. Twilight and her friends thought for sure they'd never see each other again after that as they thought that Twilight would be sent back to Canterlot to redo magic kindergarten. But they didn't give up easily. They rushed to Twilight's side, and pleaded with the Princess. Claiming that they were being foolish and bad friends for not taking their dear friend's concern seriously. If they had, the whole problem may have been avoided in the first place. The Princess with her kind heart agreed to overlook the whole thing, if they all wrote to her when, and only when, they discovered something about friendship as well." He mulled over the moral of his story in his head with a smile before adding, "I saw the dust fly while I was in town, but wasn't a part of the event myself. I got the details from Pinkie Pie actually as I was visiting her to see how her pet alligator Gummy was doing."

"No, I was still their friend even if I lived in Manehatten, and an honorary Cutie Mark Crusader..." she explained, thinking about it. She then looked to Sherlock. "But it's not all Twilight's fault, Fluttershy told me in a letter that Twilight was so terrified of being forced back to Canterlot away from her friends because of what that big dumb meanie Discord did to her. When her friends laughed at her problem, not knowing any better, it caused her to just snap...She took consoling for that..." Sherlock nodded understandingly. "Anything you all can tell me about their time during the Discord incident?" he asked, intrigued. "While their other adventures are vital, my book will mainly focus on the Nightmare Moon incident and the Discord incident, I think you can understand.

As Swamps told the riveting and slightly terrifying tale of Discord's defeat, Frost turned his attention to what Ladybug said about Twilight. "But in the end, Twilight always has the most faithful, honest, kind, funny, and generous friends. A shining example to ponies everywhere." He smiled and shook his wings before pulling them tight around his body to keep out the cold. "I know I have that in my dearest friend." He glanced to Swamps, but looked back remembering, "But we're friends to now right? All four of us. So I guess I should say 'friends', huh?" OOC: Discord episodes are to long for me to retell, but I think you know what happened. ;]

Frost being an excellent storyteller helpped a lot. At the end, Sherlock smirked. "Oh I wish I could've seen the look on his face!" he said, he then settled. "Sorry, just after what he put everypony in Equestria through, it's kind of hard not to be glad he got what he deserved. He really got scared when he found out what was going on, huh?" Ladybug nodded. "Yeah, we're friends..." she replied, giving a shy little smile. She snuggled into her scarf to keep her warm. "Frost, do you think my big sister will be surprised to see me? I don't want to startle her...there's a difference you know..." she said, showing her timid nature.
