Link saved the skin and bones to throw at the squirrel that was annoying her. She passed by Dex's den, but she didn't really know it. she sat down in front of it, not realizing it's there.... but, she needed to think through for a minute.

Dax decided to return to his den, the night earlier he had dug another entrance and cover it up, as an escape hole.. for any odd reason. He trotted past it, satisfied that it wasn't visible. He rounded a corner, then there was Link, he stopped in surprise.

Link had her head hug. She didn't notice that there was someone behind her, Unless she decided to look back.

Dax looked from side to side and took a few steps back, he turned and trotted away, then trotted back.

Link shook her head and stood up, she turned around and started to walk forward, she looked up and find that she was nose to nose with Dex. She jumped back and blushed a bit.

Dax blinked in surprise, he put a paw forward, then regaining his thoughts he took a step back. He smiled, "oh.. hi.." he said.

"I.. umm..." she was basically speechless, she didn't know what to do. She quickly started to run back to where she always sleeps.

Dax stood and watched her run, "oh.." he said softly to himself. He looked at his paws and kicked the dirt, a soft growl coming from his lips. He shook his head in frustration.

Link jumped over toe log and laid there, where she usually always was, just on the other side of the log, she giggled a bit, but was still a bit scarred.

Dax sighed and sat heavily. He looked at his paws for a moment, looking up he looked into the trees. He stood and began to trot the border line..

"I'm sorry!" she called out hoping he would hear her call to him.

Dax paused, his ears perked for a moment, then returned to their normal position. He barked once, then looked out into the forest. "It's okay." he whispered to himself. He continued trotting.

Link smiled when he heard his bark.

Dax moved through the bushes, he heard a movement, swinging his head he saw that there was nothing there, he shrugged and continued trotting.

She fell asleep and woke up later in the morning.
