As I began to run off to think I heard a bearly audible nicker. I t5urned just in time to notice, Crow had moved. He was alive. I reared praising the young colt. He had strength I'd admit. But he could never,ever stay with me. Neptune on the other hand...

Crow:
I staggerd to get up. When my mother tried to coax me back onto the ground I stopped her and said in the strongest voice I could. No momma. I wince in pain. I have to. My mom helped me walk to the lake.

I watched for awhile as the colt stood up. With a sense of pride...Ugh, I hate emotions, I headed off into the distance to find just what I needed, I just didn't know what.

Nikki:
I kept my distance from Raven and Crow until she gave me the okay signal. I looked around and smiled at my sister and her foal. I couldn't believe how strong he was. He was strong just like his mother and father.

I continued to run faster and faster until my heart felt like it was about to burst but still I ran harder. I ran so much that I was in more pain than three stallions put together. I felt as if the wind was leading me until I skidded to a halt. I can't leave the mares! I thought with embarassment. I quickly headed back to the lands on which we lived and collapsed...

OOC: If you want I can skip ahead to when Nikki is going to give birth to the second foal. It's up to you.

Nikki:
Something told me to find a quiet area and lay down. When I followed through with my instincts another part of me said not to get up. A few minutes later I was looking at new, tiny, face that looked back at me. I smiled and cleaned it off. It was... a Girl.

I raised my head curiously.'Nikki'? I whsipered.'Nikki'? Soon I wandered upon her and her new foal. I took another cautious stepped forward and galdly noticed it was a girl!

Nikki:
I was going to get up again when I felt something else. I looked at the ground and lied my head back down on the soft grass. A few moments later another foal was born. Another little filly. I had never had twins before! This was exciting! I cleaned the second filly off and named them both. Ruby and Amber. I smiled and got up. Waiting for them to take their first stand.

I was absolutely astonished! Blown away...Twins! Twins were so rare. I smiled looking over at Nikki but not daring to get close to such a moody mare and her new children.

Ruby & Amber:
We staggered to our feet and looked at our mom for the first time. We both started suckling as she grazed casually. We could see Esperanza peeking over at us with great confusion.

I looked over at Ezperanza and got just close enough that we could speak.'Your sisters have been born'! I announced simply. With a nicker of pride in myself I cantered off to drink from the pond.

Esperanza:
Gross! I shouted not caring who heard. I stormed over to Crow and told him everything. Raven didn't hear me and I was glad she didn't. Crow shouted gross too and I looked at him with a, 'What am I going to do!?!' look.

I drank from the large pond with a nicker of interest as how my emotions were working and my gears were grinding. It was as if the world was against me. My mothers heritage was blazing through me. I cantered a few laps around the pond then stepped in gentley to cool off.
