Saber was eating his last few sausages when he heard a man coming. He perked his ears up, stopped eating, and whispered to Koak, "Do you think you can run?"

Koak looked down at his paw and shook his head. "Hide?"

Saber could see the man coming, and in his had was a broom. He said to Koak, "Hide in the ally, I'll be back." Saber got up and ran straight past the butcher. the butcher shouted when he saw Saber with his meat. The man ran straight after Saber with a broom in his hand, trying to catch the mutt.

Koak hid under a few boxes and watched the bucher try to catch Saber and he laughed a little bit.

Saber dodged the fat butcher and went into the main street. He was so caught up in getting away from the fat man that he ran straight into his "owner." Without another second of thinking, everything went black when the butcher clocked him straight on the head.

Koak perked up when he heard a thud. "hu?"

Saber woke up in a crate, inside a room filled with large dogs. They all were barking loudly, and Saber knew exactly where he was. "Oh crap." He thought as he remembered where Koak was. He studied the lock, and realized that these were newer too. Saber had no choice but to sit and wait.
It was about 30 minutes before a man came into the room. He looked into Saber's cage, seeing that he was awake, he opened the door and led Saber into a small pen. Once inside the pen, Saber didn't waste a second to escape. He simply saw an opening and jumped over the small fence and ran for the door. People shouted, and Saber ran outside the door and back into the outside world. Saber then went looking for Koak, not realizing that there was a man chasing him.

Koak perked up at the sound of yelling and barking.

Saber lost the man and went flying into the ally. He called out Koak's name.

"Quiet down... i'm right here." he said under the boxes, to keep him from being seen.

Saber went to the boxes and moved them to see Koak. "Let's go find you a doctor."

"Are you sure about this, i mean we are wolves.... well I'm a part... but still," explained Koak.

"Don't worry about it." Saber assured, "This doctor is a personal friend of mine."

"Okay," said Koak. Slowly, but surely, he stood up, having a hard time with only 3 paws.

Saber slowly led the way down the street to a small office. He went to the back door and scratched on it. Out came a little girl that screamed and hugged Saber warmly. She saw Koak's twisted paw and called her father. An old man appeared, and let the dogs inside the house.
