Parents: Two herding dogs who fell in luuurve <3

Siblings:
Related to Athena and most likely Bear- but very distant.

Mate: none yet- she flits from guy to guy...xD

Crushes on:Avery
past one on Mac

Pups: none-she's not really a motherly type.

Personality:

Abit quirky and quite fashion forward. Quick to judge on what is "blah" and what is "cool"

She's a glamorous southern Belle- beautiful and manipulative!

At a young age, she decided she was "too pretty" for herding, and spent time admiring her reflection in the lake.

She's a kinky little flirter, and acts a bit of an air headed bimbo.

Has a bit of a weird imagination, and thinks all other girls are jealous of her.

Bred to be hard working...but only on her own schemes.

Willa has this, "I'm-cute-and-I-know-it,-so-spoil-me" attitude, she flaunts this around anyone and acts like..."Don't hate me cus i'm hot" :3

Self-absorbed, she'll talk on and on about how hard it is to be beautiful, but she really does have a heart, she's not really mean to anybody, and she doesn't shun others, she's just....in love with herself. xD

Hates to get herself dirty, always wants to be in top notch condition and keep herself looking fabulous.
Obsessive on anything she decides she wants. x3 Especially when it comes to Avery, nothing gets in her way. She's competitive in that way, but doesn't muss up one piece of hair in the process.

Sometimes, she lives in her own little fairy tale world, even if she flits from guy to guy- she dreams of a prince charming <3

Though she grew up in rural country, she's a city girl at heart, and demands the most finest things in life. xD Thus she’s a “glamorous” type gal.

She likes bad boys, but mostly goes for looks and what she can get out of him, ironically, she also finds refined guys who are well mannered attractive. X3

Willa is a very dramatic, expressive and over the top person. She can make a very minor thing seem very huge (*cough* dirt on her tail*cough* -.- )

She absolutely hates pups, she thinks they're dirty, loud and annoying x3





History:
Her father had moved from Alaska to the deep south-where he became a cattle herder. He met her mother, who lived on a neighboring ranch.
as you can probably guess, love ensues. And puppies were born. One female survived. They named her "Willa May."

Willa May was named for the month in which she was born, and how she said the word "willow"
Being the only puppy, Willa was very doted on by her parent's owners. Every whim was catered to, she was crooned over and cuddled. She was by all means, a Princess. Her parents loved her very much- she being their only pup- but they were concerned that she wasn't showing the signs of a hardworking breed.

Indeed she wasn't. Willa would rather strut around, keep her coat clean, and be admired.
When she was old enough- her parents taught her to herd sheep.
Willa yawned. b-ORING. The gleam of a stream caught her eyes, and she wandered over to it. She leaned over and admired her reflection.
three hours later, she was STILL preening at her fur and singing to herself.
In the meantime, a lamb had also been taken by coyotes....


Though Will acted as if it was no big deal, secretly, deep down..she regrets it. and because of this, she never likes to talk about her earliest years.
After this unfortunate happening- Willa was of no use on the farm. She was sold to a rich couple who owned a plantation. They had a large white two story house. Willa was giddy at the sudden change, but she was excited to have owners who showed her off, and kept doting on her.

The family eventually moved up to New York-and had a comfortable two story house-that was quite expensive- Willa found she was more of a city girl and reveled in everything New York had to offer.


One evening as she sat alone, grooming herself in the parlor, a sudden noise caught her attention. A loud BANG came near the fence. Willa squealed and her tail bushed out. She stood frozen for a couple seconds before she finally got the courage to sneak over and take a peek outside. Something exploded through the a hole in the fence and ran right into her. Willa stared in surprise. A large male dog, Lab-pitbull mix, had slid into her, nose to nose.
Another figure, a golden furred pup, scrabbled in through the tight hole, trampling over the just mowed lawn.
The sound of people yelling and coming nearer......
The pair moved quickly and made for the doggy door to the kitchen.
"WAIT!" Willa yelped and followed after them.
She entered the kitchen and glared at them both. "Who are you?! what's the meaning of bursting in on MY property?" Her fur bristled, and she quickly smoothed it down.

"P-please...er...ma'am..."began the male.."You have to hide us!"
Willa stared at the strange pair "Hide...you..?" she enunciated slowly.
The female spoke up, "Yes, HIDE US...the pound guys are after us! We're strays, we just need to- JUST HIDE US."
Willa glared at the female, and rolled her eyes, "you just tracked dirt in my clean parlor, why should I hide two dirty strays here?" She made a face.

The male spoke again...."It's actually more of my ex-girlfriend rather than the pound..I...Look..we just need to stay in here for a few minutes and we'll be on our way-"
Willa's ears perked, did he say EX-girlfriend?
She gave him a flirty smile. "Then you can stay here as long as you like, big boy" <3
The female glared at her, but Willa ignored her.

The sound of yelling grew closer. "Wait here, then," Willa commanded, and stepped out into the backyard, trotting over to the hole and looking out cautiously. Several men in uniform were searching near the fence, and caught sight of her peeking out.
"Well whaddya know!" One of the men said.
"Miss Park Avenue 'erself!" Another laughed
One of them caught sight of her and tipped his work hat playfully "Hello there, beautiful!" Willa only smirked at them.
"Don't think she'd let any strays through that fence!" Commented another.
The men laughed and went on their way. Willa went back to the kitchen. "I think they're gone, but you're welcome to stay a while..." she said sweetly to the male.
The male blushed. "Why..I...er.."
"So what's your name?" Willa cooed.
The little female spoke up, "C'MON Mac! you KNOW we can't stay here!" She threw another glare at Willa. "Thanks, but we have to move on," she added.
Willa muttered, "I wasn't talking to you."
Mac blushed again, "Er yes...it's Mac...you?"
"You can call me Willa." She smiled.
"MAC! LET"S GO!" Yelped the female, glowering at Willa, she tugged on Mac's leg, and pushed him towards the door.
Willa watched as the two squeezed through the fence. Mac kept looking back at Willa.
"Look me up if you're ever here again." Willa called.
Mac only grinned and nodded.
Willa sighed, and walked back into the house.

About a couple nights later...Mac came back, and the two spent some time on the back porch, talking.
For a stray, he was pretty cute, and a good talker. Willa grew to have a huge crush on him.
Mac would occasionally take her out. While Will hated the dirtiness of the alley ways, she got to know a little more about his world, and it just made them grow closer.

This continued for several nights, usually it was interrupted by the annoying little female, Ginger, who was out worridly looking for Mac.

Things seemed to be going well- when one day-- Willa's owner decided he had enough living in the city, enough with the noise, and all the people, enough with pampering the dog..(who was supposed to be working)
. He wanted a more minimal lifestyle. So he decided to move to..ALASKA?!?!

Willa paniced. The wilderness?! NOOOOO!

There was nothing that would change the old man's mind. He packed up his wife (lol xD), Willa and most of the house's contents.
Willa was saddened. She broke the news to Mac, who was also shocked. But he promised, he would go to Alaska and find her.
Willa wasn't sure whether to believe him or not. But he assured her that he would follow her to the ends of the earth if necessary (awww xD)

All to soon, Willa and her family started the long trip to Alaska.
They arrived in their destination after a long drive, and Willa discovered just how minimalist this life style would be.

The family had chosen a small simple house, out in the woods, and about a five minute walk to town.
Willa was not amused with the new conditions. She wanted to go back to New York and live the high life again. She would often pace a lot, and whine, looking at her owners with huge eyes, begging them to bring her back. Her owners saw this as not enough socializing and took her to town. Willa was bored at first..the dogs here looked too blah and too "common." Quite a change from the pampered pooches of New York, but....the rough, grizzled dogs reminded her of Mac.

She wasn't too big on socializing but she did manage to talk primly to a few females. Not surprisingly, barely anyone could stand her.
A couple dogs seemed to look over this, there was a young female, Ivy, who thought she was a cat, and then there was Saffron, who had a similar personality. It wasn't an ideal situation, as Willa didn't think too highly of them. But all that changed when Ivy and Saffron introduced her to their male friends. Here, her reputation in the town became known as "kinky." ;3 Soon however, she met the man of her dreams.

Avery.

It seemed to be love at first sight for Willa. He was absolutely "A-dor-uh-ble!"

Her memories of Mac and New york faded away. She devoted her time to getting to know this incredibly cute, if incredibly shy Avery.
She sauntered up to him, and started talking to him.Her flirting seemed to fluster him, and it made Ivy upset (as both like Avery x3), but he smiled politely and treated her like a gentleman would treat a lady.
Ivy and Willa became less of friends and more of rivals, both competed for his attention, usually to the point of overwhelming him.
Willa eventually got a habit of calling Avery "spotty nose", because of the spots on his nose, which she finds incredibly attractive (XD)
Seeing that Ivy was trying just as hard to get Avery back, Willa decided to cool her approach and decided to go with "casual interest."
She spent her time with him, usually hanging out or following him around, chatting constantly.

For Avery, he didn't want a relationship- even after knowing her for a while-(and he knew about her reputation) He just wanted to be friends. but Willa wouldn't hear of it. She kept pestering him and being persistent (which began to wear him down)
After a couple weeks, Willa felt he was close to seeing things her way. Excitement bubbled up in her as she waited for him on the street corner so they could take their "usual walk" as she called it.

Her tail wagged as she saw him walking slowly down the street.She rushed over to meet him, nuzzling in greeting. He quickly pulled away from her, and she looked at him confused, (and a just a little hurt....)
"what's wrong?" She asked softly.
He looked at her with a blank expression. "My owner is taking me to Australia." He looked away.

An awkward silence filled the air.


"F-for a vacation, right? you'll be BACK won't you? Please say you WILL!" Willa demanded.

He turned and stared at her for a few moments and replied "No. why would I want to come back?"

Willa stared at him open mouthed.
"Good bye Miss Willa." he said simply, and continued walking down the street.

Tears pricked at her eyes, as she stood rooted to the spot.

She walked home in a bit of a daze, and didn't do anything, or say anything.

His words had stung...

The next day, Ivy sniffed her out and found Willa sulking on the front porch.
"you chased him away.....you actually chased him away!!" Ivy seethed with anger.

Willa growled at her.."go back to chasing catnip mice, kitty cat"

The two females snarled at each other, and finally Ivy just turned and left.
They never spoke to each other again.

Saffron did her best to cheer Willa up, kept dragging her to meet more dogs, reminding her of such things as "what about that Mac guy? He'll come for ya' won't he?"
Though it took a long time, Willa began to slowly get over Avery. She seemed to be back to her old self, when she saw the teams of big male sled- dogs in the winter.

However, the memory of Avery always stuck in her heart, right next to the memories of Mac.


To the present,she hangs around town, "tolerating the little people as best she can", she sits on a hill overlooking the sea, waiting for Avery to come back, and Mac to find her. And if they don't come back, she's trying to figure out a way to get back to New york.
However, these plans change, when she finds out about Athena. and the two of them discover that they are related, and are in fact half-sisters.

Willa gives up her plans, and decides to take Athena under her wing and "build up her self confidence."
In other words...."lighten up!!" (She knows the stuff her little half sister went through, but she really doesn't know how to address it..so she just ignores it...xDD)

-Her tail gets bushy like a cat when she gets scared x3 xDDD
-Wears alot of collars and ribbons- which normally change every day
- has a weird habit of being stalkerish with guys she has eyes on.
- attempts to seduce a lot of guys- so she can have a bunch of fan boys running around and doing her bidding (what a lazy butt BC)
[color=#FF0000]-She hates pups. She thinks they get in her way when she’s trying to get to guys.
-Will especially hates Gingersnap because she always tries to keep Willa away from Mac.
- Has a weird preference for males with spotted noses like hers- she finds it very attractive xDD

How she feels about:


Mac- Willa thinks he's an "adorable old boy", and would like to get close to him. However after she discovers Avery- she puts her memories of Mac aside.

Ginger- Absolutely dislikes her. When Mac is around, Willa tends to be toned down more, but she and Ginger don't get along. She finds her annoying. The fact that Ginger is still around a pup-ish age, only makes things worse. Since Willa has no patience with pups x3


Saffron- She's....okay...from Willa's point of view- "she's not as pretty as I am though! Hmph! ^^"

Bear- Thinks He's quite a cutie- she'd totally go after them if she hadn't found out that they might be related.

Athena- Willa cares about her little sister, she wishes that Athena would toughen up a little, but she's always there for her.

Beaulah-Jean- She thinks B.J is a good listener and that "she's okay for a common girl."

Ivy- Finds her a "queer little thing", and thinks that her "cat like" ways are hilarious but also distasteful. Sometimes they hang out, they just don't get along when they find out they're in love with the same dude. They're fierce rivals over Avery. x3

Ginny- They don't get along x3 Ginny is too tomboyish for her taste. and she doesn't appreciate it when Ginny calls her a bimbo. xDD


Why I'd like her x3

She'd be key in developing Mac and Ginger. i always wanted Mac to have another girlfriend while in New York- and she'd be perfect for the job. Her design is just gorgeous and I'd love to have her related to Athena (which would develop Athena's back story a bit more) x3
I'd love to draw her with the rest of "the gang" and I really think she'd be fun to draw in general x33 As with Athena-- I think she'd be a good subject for a one shot story. ^^

Also Avery needed more love, and she would help develop his character as well x3


** ALSO- she would be the incentive that Mac goes allllllll the way to Alaska- just for a girl he really loves. Which is very helpful for him as a character (before he didn't have any reason except for being a "hobo dog" and that just wasn't strong enough, so I feel that this is VERY helpful now x3)

Name: Sunflower

Breed: German Shephard/Border Collie
Gender: Male
Parents: A couple of very naughty show dogs, they mated at a show behind their hapless owner's backs, and had a litter of mixed puppies.
Siblings: 2 sisters, 1 brother, each found homes.
Mate: He's in love with Mother Nature, maaan.
Crush: --
Pups: --

Personality:
He is a carefree soul who loves nature more than anything else. He lets things happen as they come and can keep a cool head in any situation, this can be annoying when he's with someone who is panicked or worried, as his overly calm attitude can drive many crazy!

He can usually be found rolling in flowers and wearing them in his fur, he also loves to mingle and can be a pretty interesting dog to be around.

History:
Sunflower was born in the spring, conceived during a regional dog show when his parent's owners had their backs turned. As soon as the puppies were born his mother's owner soon found homes for all of them, at least, almost all of them. Sunflower was a roamer from the start, and eventually he simply left and never came back.

The roving mutt found himself entranced with nature, the smells and sights of the spring flowers fresh in bloom sent the dog's heart atwitter, he was nature crazy! Eventually he wandered into the home of a pair of people who fit him to a T, some hippies who immediately took the mutt in and dubbed him Sunflower, to match his constantly sunny nature. He lives with his nature loving owners, but is usually free to roam as he pleases, and he's just fine with that.

Other: He can often be found wearing chains of flowers made by his owners, and even a bandanna adorned with the flower he's named after.

I loved this guy from the moment I saw him heeee<3
