Rissa's necklace warmed, the star glowing slightly. Some of the color drained from her face as her green eyes flitted around wildly. She barely managed to make out the outline of a figure, hidden within the shadows. The star warmed up a bit more, as if agreeing. He was causing her necklace to warn her.

Well, crap. Bree had probably seen the silver star flash; it's glow was still there, it was just more faint. How would she explain that? Batteries? No, that was stupid. There was no where for batteries to go; that was obvious. Besides, even now her instincts were trying to move her legs, reacting to the helpful warning.

"Uh, Bree? My house is just down there. Let's go," she said quickly, grabbing Bree's wrist and tugging her urgently towards her house. Please don't fight back, please don't fight back... Rissa pleaded silently. It would be difficult to explain why she was dragging her.

Ooc:// I made this mostly for myself to figure out the rooms and such, but I thought I should share it with everybody as a reference to the house. I will also have a link on the first page! - http://www.iaza.com/work/110513C/iaza16277698164800.png

Bic:// Luna turned around, not even realzing that she had down so until she faced the open door and the brown-haired male wolf that stood just inside the house. Zac's answer definately intrigued her, though her mind was still sorting out why. She had been expecting that answer, right? Well, maybe she had known te answer to the question, but she never imagined that this lone wolf, a male she had just met half an hour ago, would admit to her that he had no idea what he was getting himself into.

As Zac talked with the other werewolf, Luna glanced around for a direction of which way she should run, but now she no longer felt like running was the best option. If she did take off, no one would follow her. Well, Zac might try, but she knew how to loose him in this town that she knew so well. But after his words, Luna began to understand how vunerable Zac would be in the face of these pack wolves. Going into that house alone would be stupid. If he was really considering this foster pack idea, than he would need someone to help him make it.

Luna sighed loudly as it dawned on her that she could no possible walk away now. From what she had seen of Zac so far, he was very out of control and easy to anger. If anyone needed protecting, it was those pack wolves against Zac. Still, a feeling nagged at Luna's mind, telling her that this pack would be good for Zac, and he needed Luna to help him adjust to the close quarters with other wolf's scent filling the air.

Crossing her arms tightly over her chest, she glared at the back of Zac's head to show her extreme unhappiness with this situation, but there was no way she would walk away.

Griffin took the flyer from the lone wolf and inspected it even though he wasn't at all suspicious of the two. He just wasn't all that thrilled to have them here. With the human staying at the foster house, and assuming she took Sonya's room while she was staying at the academy, there was only one bedroom left. And even though these two lone wolves came together, Griffin highly doubted that they were very fond of each other, let alone willing to share a room.

Even with this problem, Griffin couldn't turn them away. It was the Silver House promise, after all. "You heard right," Griffin replied to the wolf in a gruff voice, pocketing the flyer and not planning to put it back out on the steets. The foster home was already jammed full with too many werewolves and the last thing they needed was more lone wolves coming to the door.

"Come on in," Griffin said in the most friendly voice that he could muster up, motioning them inside the house. The female didn't look like she would come inside, and Griffin's mind silently hoped that she would just go away and not come back. "By the way, my name's Griffin. I've been here four years and try to help out as much as possible."

Matt reached the stairs and hurriedly clambored up a flight of steps to reach the second floor, releasing Laika's wrist somewhere in the middle of climbing up the stairs. He showed her through a hallway that turned to the right after a few feet. He stopped in front of the first door on the left, opening the door wide and walking in.

The room looked very bare to Matt since he hadn't been in it since Sonya went to the dorms at the academy. Most of the posters were gone, leaving only three or four to hang lonely on the otherwise empty walls. In the back corner was a small pile of canvases with either finished or half-finished paintings, along with a few brushes and paints that Sonya had left at home. Along one wall was a small shelf that used to be over-flowing with CDs, but now only a dozen or so cases were left.

Matt headed over to the bed which was still covered in the familiar red and white comforter. He jumped on the bed and relaxed his shoulders on one of the pillows. "Well, here it is," he announced, motioning around the room. "It's actually Sonya's bed room, but she's actually staying at her boarding school for who knows how long, so it should suit you for now."

"Yeah, sure, if you don't mind," Rose replied to Rissa's earlier, less urgent question. For a moment, Bree thought she saw something glow, but she pushed that though away, thinking it must be the sun glinting off a watch or a piece of jewely. She didn't think much about it until Rissa suddenly clutched her wrist and urged Bree to her house.

"Hey, what's the rush? Is there something wrong?" Bree asked this last part in a whisper, gently tugging herself free from Rissa's grip to glance around the street and the sidewalk. It didn't seem like there was anything out of the ordinary, so Bree continued to stand in the same spot, waiting for Rissa to explain.

Laika glanced around curiously. Paints, canvases and CDs were in the corner and on otherwise bare shelves. The bed looked warm and welcoming, a red a white comforter covering the mattress. She would happily stay here until she had to leave...which unfortunately, always happened at some point or another. Matt mentioned someone named Sonya, though most of the words were unintentionally tuned out. In an effort to bring herself back to reality, and make conversation, she asked, "How long has she been at boarding school?"

This was exactly what she didn't want to happen. Now Bree would most likely stand there and pester her with questions until Rissa gave a satisfactory answer. Which she couldn't do. Even though Rissa would never admit it, she was still afraid of being shunned and abandoned, like her parents had done to her when they found out she was a witch.

"Maybe," Risaa offered as a vague answer. "Please, can I just explain things inside? I promise I will, we just have to get out of here first."

For some reason, even though Griffin was probably trying his best to hide it, Zac could tell he and Luna weren't welcome here. Wait, what about Luna? He turned to see her by his side and was slightly puzzled, but then realized it must have been what he said. Maybe she was coming for his own protection. Whatever the reason, he was glad he wasn't going to dive into this snout first without a partner.

He gave a slitted look of his eyes towards Griffin before hesitantly asking, "Are you sure we're welcome here?" His tone implied a lot in just a simple question. His foot was partly in the door, but he turned to Luna for guidance before looking back at Griffin with those same questioning eyes.

The question he has just asked itself had many emotions locked into it. Behind his controlled tone, it sounded like rejection. It also made it clear that Zac was 'giving permission' for him to act how he truly felt and didn't have to play the nice guy if didn't feel like it.

He also noted the piece of paper promptly going back into the werewolf's pocket. Why would he have put it there if he really wanted werewolves welcome? Maybe he was forced to be nice, Zac reasoned. But maybe they're full to their limits, he included in his thoughts.

His own mind was starting to race with different ideas and different hopes and different ends. He wasn't exactly sure of the situation, and he could have very well been wrong about this wolf. He could have been acting completely nice, for all he knew. Maybe he was just paranoid. After all, it had been a long time... actually never... since he'd been in a pack. Much less company of his own kind.

Ashton grinned at this new sense of fear he was getting from one of them. However, their necklace was glowing... why was that? And it just so happened to coincide with his fangs elongating? That was strange... Just then, he had other problems to add to the glowing necklace. The girl had turned. She saw him.

Probably not details, but he knew she was smart enough to figure out that he was male, around their age. Even a dimwit could tell that much. At least the shadows kept his own details hidden. Or... he hoped it would.

He looked at the two heading down the street, Rissa tugging urgently on Rose's hand. Well, how interesting. He moved down the wall to watch the action unfold. The necklace girl seemed to be struggling to get the bleeding girl back to her house. Obviously, the bleeding girl was trying to get a hook on things. Trying to figure out why necklace seemed to be so frantic. Or... controlled frantic. He wasn't too sure.

He started associating each of them with these 'names', seeing as he didn't know their real ones. Rissa with the term 'necklace' and Rose with the term 'bleeding', which, every time he thought of, made his canine teeth nearly tear at his gums.

And, obviously, necklace didn't want to waste any time here. She was trying her absolute best to assure bleeding that all would be explained... once they were indoors. However, that would stop the vampire from seeing in and hearing their every word. Oh, how much fun this all was. Ashton could only hope, though, that this playing around wouldn't cost him a high price.

He could only pray, even though he was already *****, that his life wouldn't be stolen away. The second time by some stupid werewolf on the rampage or out for revenge.

Cody left his hiding place to go see the two girls out on the street and see if he could help them in any way. He looked directly where his wolf told him to when it picked up its aura and growled at the kid, lowly but menacingly. He looked at the two girls again and said "Can I help you girls? One of you is bleeding and I know the other." He looked directly at the witch and mouthed 'vampire' and 'witch'. He tilted his head towards the witch when he mouthed witch and said "I hope you girls allow me to help."

OOC: Sorry Hunter. I "need" him to know that witch and he's a hunter of magical creatures so it would be bad if he didn't spot Ashton out immediately.

"Uhh," Rissa said, at a total lack of anything coherent. First off, who was this guy? And how did he know she was a witch? Stalker, maybe? That was always a possibility. But he seemed okay enough...like that could be trusted. Taking a tentative step back, she eyes him warily. "I think we're okay," she replied finally.

Cody smiled at her and said "I'm mean you no harm, miss. Please don't be afraid of me. I knew a person like you before but she died. I have something of hers that you would probably like to see though. You are able to see it if you would like later but please let me help you girls. I owe you girls at least that much."

Ashton nearly snarled when the wolf had stared him down. How could he dare try and give his position away like that? He wanted to get closer and challenge the guy. However, since he had to stifle a hiss just then since he had restrained a snarl, and he now had that necklace situation to figure out, it was a pretty bad idea.

The vampire didn't care. Much less listen to his own conscious thoughts half of the time. Curiosity, hunger, and utter boredom usually all ruled out practicality. Besides... from the looks of it, even if necklace and the wolf knew what he was... the other girl wouldn't. He grinned in just the slightest manner before racing out of the shadows at inhuman speed.

He waited a few minutes before walking on the other side of the road. No one should have seen him cross except for the wolf perhaps, but even then, it would be a bad battle to have in front of the other two. A werewolf and a vampire, fighting? Catastrophe. But... just because the werewolf was possibly stronger than him didn't mean that Ashton was left at a complete disadvantage.

In movies and junk, when werewolves were pitted against vampires, the wolves always won. However, in reality, this wasn't always the case. It really depended on the vampire. Sure, if you're weak and helpless, you'll lose. Sure, if you're inexperienced and cocky, you'll lose. Either one of these cases could even ultimately lead to death.

And while Ashton didn't have brute strength as a predominant advantage, he did have stunning grace and speed. And, he had over 100 years worth more of fighting experience than this teenager did and might possibly ever have.

Now was the time to approach. And so, he made his way towards the group, with questioning eyebrows, normal stature, and a complete and seemingly harmless outlook. "Um, are you guys alright?" He turned his eyes to the bleeding girl and gasped a slight, but pretending sound. "Oh my gosh, are you okay? You're bleeding!" He said with a worried tone. Even though he knew exactly what had happened and was fighting every urge not to claw into the girl's throat.

And, truth be told, to any average person, even on guard, it would have sounded pretty convincing. Who knew about these two though. Especially with the watchful werewolf standing guard. Ashton prepared himself for two things or more. The first thing he made himself ready to do was to fight. This werewolf could have anger issues, severe brain problems, or anything else that could possibly be wrong with a wolf. How was a vampire supposed to know? The second thing was a reveal. He prepared his 'speech' or 'cover-up' for if and when this guy decided to 'spill the beans' about his real species.

Rissa didn't know how to respond. Should she trust him, or should she not? Her necklace was still warm from the lurking danger of the guy in the shadows, so she couldn't tell if the one in front of her was a danger as well. Crap.

Then the guy from the shadows walked towards them. Rissa's necklace heated further in protest, flashing brighter. "We're fine," she said, trying not to stumble over the words. Her heart was thumping wildly; what danger did he pose? Still gripping Bree's hand tightly, she took a step back, tensed in preperation to run away.

Cody smiled and said "Consentrate on the guy with your mind and see who he is, miss. Your necklace is a warning sign to you. It's exposed to warn you of supernatural entities that are evil. I have seen one of those before and when it gets brighter and hotter it means that the danger is getting nearer." He motioned with his eyes that the guy next to him was the vampire at the same time that he was saying that.

"I've had it for years!" Rissa snapped, taking another step back as she spoke. "I know what it does!" She still took the stranger's advice though, staring intently at the dangerous male. She caught a glimpse of...teeth? But there was something off about them...

Her necklace warmed again, urging her to look closer. Obviously, it agreed with the stranger. "A vampire," she whispered, recognition finally flitering through het adrenaline-laced brain. "You're a vampire." Unknowingly, she gripped Bree's wrist tighter, her free hand moving to clutch her star-shaped charm.

Another step back. Another wary glance. "And how do you know I'm a witch?" she finally dared to ask, looking at the stranger, the one who wasn't a vampire. She hoped. Rissa probably shouldn't have mentioned she was a witch aloud like that, but she couldn't help it. She had to know how he knew.

Cody sighed and said "My best friend was a witch and she died by the hands of a very old vampire. I just don't want to see another one die. Now focus on me and tell me what I am."

Ashton was slightly surprised at how the events decided to fold out, but he shrugged off the shock. Literally. He actually shrugged, made a careless laugh as if it were a joke. And indeed, he went on as if it were. "You actually think I'm a vampire? Vampires don't exist, dear." He smiled. A smirk was starting to tug at the ends of his lips, and he openly allowed his own muscles to make that type of smile.

He shut it off, though, and looked at the other male with dangerous eyes. Eyes that could have killed all by themselves had they been lent any weapons. It sent a straight forward and direct message: Stop.

Though, when he turned back to the girls backing away now, his expression was simple. It once again showed the carelessness of a joking teenager. "A witch? C'mon!" He said softly, but with a slight hint of humor to show he didn't believe it. Though, he did. Even if it puzzled him inside.

Actually, inside, he was cursing at himself. How could he have been so foolish? First not thinking of the possibility of werewolves? Now, not even thinking there could have been others besides werewolves? He was a mess. He should have known both of the supernatural beings' right on the spot.

Then... it hit him. This was the pair of watchful eyes that had been on him before. He didn't make the mistake to look at him once more, though. He made it clear in his own eye and facial expression that none of this seemed realistic. Or... he pretended to make it clear. Anyways. "You're joking, right?" He turned to the male finally, but with that same humored look. To make it even more purchasable. So that if the girl happened to glance, she'd see he was the same emotion all the way through from her to him to the other girl.

And even as she began backing away, Ashton made no moves towards her. If she wanted to go, let her. He couldn't blow his cover a third time.

"Gah, I don't know!" Rissa burst out, shooting another wary glance at the vampire. "A werewolf?" she guessed absently. Why all the questions? What did it matter? There was a flippin' vampire standing right there, and he was acting as if nothing was going on!

Then the vampire spoke. "I wish they didn't, but they do. And you know it," Rissa replied immediatly. It wasn't hard to tell now. Her guardian and her mentor had warned her about them multiple times. And her necklace kept flashing.

"And no, we aren't joking," she added.

Ashton sighed as if all the fun had been ruined. It seemed to have the ring or memory as if a child had just been told to come back inside after a long day of play: tired, relentless, and still eager to continue, but crushed by what they had been told. The situations were frighteningly similar, even though they wouldn't seem like it.

The vampire grinned once more before letting his facial expression fall into a serious one once more. "Alright, I give up. I tried." He shrugged again, but this time, it was no laughing matter. "What are you going to do? Ask the werewolf to kill me?" He gestured towards the male next to him, but didn't care to sneak a glance. His eyes remained heavily on Rissa. A long pause occurred before he finally spoke again. "Can I just ask your names before you two start screaming or running?"

He looked at the buildings to the side even though there was nothing there, and turned his body to face that way so they couldn't see his face at all. It looked as if he was trying to shield his own emotions. And the facts were that he was, and he was also thinking.

"You know, I didn't come here to this town to kill you. I didn't even know you were a witch, up until this point. And until an hour or so ago, I didn't know there was a single werewolf living here. Turns out how stupid I've been..." He reflected. "Letting my guard down was bad enough, but then I had to stumble around and walk into this mess? Revealing myself, pretty much. Well... if it weren't for the wolf maybe I would have stayed hidden." He turned and faced Cody with eyes that burned.

"I suppose it doesn't matter either way, though." He turned back to the girls now. "So, now what? Are you going to run, kill me, or both?" He gave a threatening smile, but turned it off automatically. Almost as if it had never been there.

OOC: Should we wait for Rose and the others?
