Zion followed quickly after. Reaching a wooden fence, turning to face the forest. a thought crossing his mind about the fort. then seeing as the sun setting over the trees, Sending a orange glow across the sky. Blinding Zion for a moment, then stared for a moment. Taking Hailey's arm as she reached the fence too and pulled her closer to him "Hailey Look! The suns setting." he pointed out, Surprised at how quick the day went

Hailey stares, "woah..."she whispers, "its really beautiful, all the colors, the clouds...." everything is silent for a moment, then she pipes up, "what about our fort? Do you think we can get some of it put together before it gets too dark?"

Zion turned to face her "Ofcourse! lets get some wood! fr-.." as he looked behind Hailey he noticed a dark barn overthe fence in the distance not far away, Seeing some piles of wood against it with some bags. "There! Prehaps we can find something at that barn"

Hailey looks, "thats a trash heap! They won't mind if we take some wood! Come on!" she zips over and digs in the wood heap, I found a big slab of wood here!" she says and shows it to Zion, "think we can use it for something? Maybe we should take it to the fort just in case?"

Zion jumped over the fence and rushed after Hailey "Looks GreaT! we can so find a use for this!" He said Crouching down picking up the wood, it was quite heavy but he didnt wanna show any weakness to Hailey. holding his breath and pulling it over to the fence. "What.. else?" he breathed.

Hailey picked up several thinner slabs, "I think we can use these to cover the floor," she gathers them up and they look like poles, "we can take these to the fort and come back tomorrow, let's get back to the fort, shall we, and...do you need help with that slab?" she asks.

Zion blinked "nono!" he quickly replied "Im fine! just didnt prepare.. I can pick it up! lets go to the fort quickly" he said Picking up the large piece of wood, only able to lift one end enough. but started to drag it "Hurry before someone spots us! these would be perfect"

"let's take off quick, "Hailey whispers, "I hear voices!" They run into the woods,'oh great," hailey groans, "We need a light..I guess we can use the moon, stay behind me" she orders, "let's see, left or right?..."

Zion leaned the wood agaisnt the tree and got his breath back "Did... we have.. to move so QUICK?" he complained "Erm.. Left..?" then Zion thought more smartly "Hm.. What if we put another marking on a tree closer to the field to show the wood is here? and tomorrow we will know it is here!" Zion nodded feeling smart

"You never know," Hailey answers mysteriously, "people could be watching and following, " <.< "Good idea" she says, she pulls out a rock from her pocket, and etches something in the tree next to her, then puts her wood on Zion's slab and leans it up against the tree. " now We can leave our stuff there, and return tomorrow and try and put it all together when we get to the glen, let's get home before we're caught outside."

"Aye sounds like a plan. Lets get back quickly" He said turning around seeing faint light, taking Hailey's Arm "Comeon!" He said manoeuvring the trees out to the field almost dragging Hailey with him reaching the field and starting to lower himself downas he looks over the hill "Which one was your house?" he asked, the town being small enough. From this distance he could make out nearly all the buildings, even his own house

"it's.." Hailey squints, "it's..that one!" she points, "the one with the red roof and the tree on the side, the last one, on the end! Hurry!" she starts running and rolls down the hill, dusting herself off and picking grass out of her hair, she mutters, "darn it!" and looks behind her for Zion, "almost there!' she announces.

Zion rushed down the hill. reaching near the bottom, at such speed once he tried to stop he Slipped and Fell over "Ack!" landing muzzle first into the muddy floor close to the stone wall. Lifting his head up with his face covered in mud "Aw Dang.. My mothers going to yell at me!" he growled "Stupid mud.."

Hailey blinks and takes a hanky out of her pocket, "here use this to get the mud off, "she says gently, her ears perk, "Oh no..." she whispers, "my mom sees us, here she comes..."

"Hailey! HAILEY! There you are you silly girl, where have you been?! WHY are you out so late?! don't you know that thngs can eat you or you'll get lost! You've worried me sick!" She grabs Hailey's arm. "We're going home, YOU are going to your room and you are STAYING there for tomorrow!"

"But mom!" hailey protests,"i was just building a for-"

"I dont CARE what you were doing!! You've disobeyed my rules and you are going to get punished for it!"

Hailey's ears droop, she turns to look at Zion and mouths a sad good bye.

Her mother looks past her and sees him.

"well no WONDER!" she mutters, "I should have known it was a BOY keeping her out, I warned you about playing with boys Hailey, you should have listened to me!"

Hailey frowns. "He's my friend...." she whispers.

"SHOO!" Her mother exclaims, "get outta here, don't keep my daughter up, and get back home and STAY there!"

She marches off with Hailey in her tight grasp.

Zion stood speechless. Then pinned his ears back as the mother turned on him and Shoo'd him off "Bu-" He stopped as the mother raised her voicem ore at him and he turned and Sprinted away. Looking back once to see Hailey being dragged off. Stopping and looking back at her. then down feeling terrible about getting her in trouble. mouthing to himself "Sorry.." when he really was wanting to say it to Hailey. he turned and walked back to his house.
