Fox nodded "Landmaster!" He shouted jumped up into the sky then, a giant tank landed on the ground. Fox pressed a button from inside the tank. and shot a laser at Gaul.

Link's grip loosened around his sword hilt as he idly whiped sweat from his brow as he gazed at the crumpled form of Gual; he only managed to smear more grime across his face.
"Uh, you missed a spot," Midna said.
"It's not a good battle unless you do get soiled," he replied. "Besides, you didn't do much fighting yourself."
"That's because I was kept busy saving people's faces!" she retorted.
"Well isn't that kind of you," he said dryly.
"We won? Sweet! Uh-huh!" Peach exclaimed, clasping her gloved hands together, twirling her pink skirt. "Oh foohy! I tore my dress!" she exclaimed, crossing her arms for a pout.
"Ahem, but it may be too early to celebrate. What do you think, Spyro?" Link interjected, piviting his body towards the dragon.

Zelda grinned as she delt a lightning kick towards a metalic body as she leaped from her perch to join Den-O on a wing [side arial smash move]. "Glad that we're not the only ones with mutliple forms, eh Samus?" she called as she blasted another cluster of Wyvern with Den's Fire, quickly followed by Nayru's Love as another battalion tried to ambush her.
"Den-O! Can you see their numbers weakening any?"
Green lazer bolts seemingly answered her question as Yoshi fired another round.
"Hey! Watch your aim!" she hollared at the dinosaur, barely dodging the friendly fire. Still, she found herself smothering a few tounges of flames that were caused by a few sparks landing onto her skirts. "Enough of this," she grumbled, transforming into Shiek once again.

Gaul was destroyed in the explosion from the cannon shot.
Spyro, now able to concentrait on his emotions, curled his tail around himself and began crying. "Why?" he asked. "Why would anyone do this to her?!" he asked, upset in every possible way. "She's spent so long trying to prove she's not that...that monster! And someone turns her back into that!" he said. "And knowing she's inside there...tossing in a nightmare and I can't help her...it tears me up inside!" he explained. "I'm a failure...I was her mate...I was supposed to protect her and I failed.."

Den-O looked around, shooting down several. "Yeah, there's less now, I think," he said, putting his gun out and charging purple energy into it, firing a large ball of energy in his Wild Shot move, blowing up several. He dodged one by breakdancing and shot it down.
Samus put her ship on autopilot and joined them, blasting down several. "If you can lure them in front of us, I can use my Final Smash to destroy them."

Fox looked at Spyro with a hint of Pity in his eyes. "We'll get Cynder back." Fox said reassuringly.
Falco just crossed his arms, Don't let emotions get in the way of the mission. he thought.

Link wiped his sword clean onto the corpse before sheathing it.
Midna wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Must you always do that? What ever happened to respect for the dead?" she softly hissed in his ear.
"Any swordsman worth his steel cleans his sword, everyone knows that, or at least should. Besides, I don't spot a patch of green grass anywhere, and I'm not about to go around with blood on my tunic that isn't mine!" he replied in a low murmur.
Midna cast a glare, But it's still distasteful, but for once, she remained silent. Her gaze wandered akwardly over to the still-grieving dragon. She temperarily glanced away when she felt Link's hand rest briefly on her shoulder; she slowly trailed behind him as he slapped the dragon on the back in condolence, for though he was rarely sharp-tounged, he wasn't perticularly skilled with words either.
Peach, on the other hand, seemed to have no problem and filled the gap of Link's weakness. "Don't be silly!" she exclaimed sweetly. "Everyone knows that you did your best, including that black vixen of yours! Besides, every hero has his day, right Mario?" she winked.
Link's face paled as he cringed. "Ouch, that's gotta hurt!" he muttured.
"I dunno... she has a point," Midna replied. Despite herself, she felt a faint grin tugging on her dimples.
Peach ignored their muttured comentary and chattered on. "Besides, everyone knows that when hero's first fail, they try again, or, go on some 'quest', confront the mean ol' villain again, and live happily every after!"

A wicked grin spread across Zelda's normally tranquil and level-headed face. "I've just the idea. I'm not dubbed a 'damsel in distress' for nothing. Let's hope those brutes are foolish enough to fall for it, though I could use fake friendly fire to make it more believeable." She winked towards Yoshi, who, though couldn't quite hear all of what was said, gathered enough to know what was expected.
The dino carefully aimed his turret's blaster a foot and a half away from the princess's torso; close enough for theatric's sake, but distant enough for Zelda to remain mostly unscathed. Bright green lazers fired into the horizon; no more than five metalic shells were thrown from their mounts.
Zelda dramatically stoops to one knee, cluching the side of her gown's bodice, crying out in agony as she slowly releases her hand to "check" for blood. Several Wyverins close in around the small group, thirsting on the promise of her scream.
"Or not," she murmurs wickedly, blue eyes smoldering triumfantly. "Samus! NOW!!!"

Spyro smiled slightly. "Thank you, you're both helpful...I did it once, I'll do it again," he said, standing up. "If Sparx was here he'd be giving me an ear full right now." he said, watching Gaul's body vanish into thin air, bosses here would eventually return, but not for awhile. "Should we get going?"

Samus glowed in a rainbow colored aura and let loose a powerful blast of energy from his arm cannon, incinerating the Wyverns, causing her armor to destinigrate to her Zero Suit. "Nice job guys."
"Yay!" said Den-O, spinning around. "We won! Cool!"

Mario just sighed when Peach told him that.
"Yeah, we should-wait where did Kirby go?" Fox asked,scratching the back of his head.
"Who cares! One less brawler, big deal! We don't need that big puffy Pink thing!" Falco huffed.
Lucario snorted at Falco "We need every brawler." He said pointedly.

"Come to think of it, he disappeared right around the same time the other's borded Samus's ship," Link mused. "Did he join up with them?"
Peach shook her head vigerously. "No, because he said 'see you later' to Yoshi."
Midna's eyes widened in disbelief. "You mean you can actually understand those two?"
"Can't you?" Peach inquired.
"Nevermind. Well, I'm gonna go look for him, unless any of you have a more 'brilliant' plan."

Yoshi bounded out of the cockpit to join the others on the roof as soon as the "all clear" signal was made, dancing his jig the entire way. "Yahshi! Yadahoo!!!"
Suddenly, Zelda felt her hands whisked away, and nearly dislocated from the rest of her body as she felt herself being forced into the dino's dance. "Waaaah! Um, guys? I could use alittle help here!" she called helplessly as her feet continued to move on their own. "No, really! I think I am getting motion sick!"

"We have to find Cynder, we have to free her from whatever this guy did to her," said Spyro. "She's suffering inside that monster, you saw her, she's in a nightmare or something. I can't leave her like that any longer than is absolutely nessacary."

"Yoshi, please stop," said Samus. "We've got to go locate Cynder, understand?" she asked, hoping the dinosaur did understand what she was saying.

Yoshi stopped immediately, though not without several narrowed sidelong glances at the two female brawlers and nearly inaudible grumbles in his secret language.
The hylian princess heaved a sigh of relief. "Thanks, Samus, though, where are we supposed to start? Not to be 'miss negativity', but Cynder could be anywhere, and over the last two years the map has expanded tremendusly. It's all so vast..." Zelda said.

Fox sighed "Ok, so Midna's going to go look for Kirby." He said then in the corner of his eye he saw something move. Fox quickly took out his blaster and shot at the thing.
"Yaadaaa!" Kirby yelled as he quickly dodged the lasers.
"Found em'." Falco said pointedly and crossed his arms.

Midna quickly skidded to a hault from her false start. "Well, that was fast," she remarked. "So, what now?"
"We go after Cynder, of course, Silly!" Peach giggled.
"Thank you, Miss Obvious, but we already knew that," grumbled the imp.
Link let his gaze drift forlongly towards the horizon. "Spyro, where would you like to search first?" he restated.

"Yeah, that's what worries me," Link grumbled. He couldn't shake the feeling that that was what this usurper wanted all along, like they were walzing into a trap blindly.

Zelda groaned. "Not again!" she yelled before dashing for cover inside after the other two brawlers. Once inside, Yoshi immediately plopped himself down infront of the turrets controls. "Fine! Have it your way," she said sarcastically. "Samus, should I attend to the boiler again, or do you have something else in mind?"
For a rare instant, the dino recoiled his rubbery hand from the trigger, staring at the Captain expectantly. "Yoshi eshdih nava?" [Can I fire?], he asked innocently.
