Dusk sighed. "If you say so." she said, sounding unsure.

Rowtag heard them coming and stood to greet Tosca and Dusk as they entered the clearing. Dusk gave him a small smile as they entered the clearing, which gladly returned.

Tosca gave her brother a faint smile, then concentrated on Twilight.
"This is Dusk" Tosca introduced, backing off next to her brother to give them some space.

Twilight kept his back to the younger wolf. "So..." he started. "You've been out on your own for awhile. Why?" he asked.

Dusk shivered when he heard his voice. "I-I was... looking for someone." she replied. It was clear to see she terrified. "My aunt Veena told me that someone that thought to be dead was still alive. So I went looking for him."

The older black wolf took in a sharp breath and gave a small chuckle. "Veena... I should've known." he said. "Well, my dear... I think you found him." With that, he turned around to face his niece. He was reminded of how much it was to look at a mirror of one's self.

Dusk gasped aloud and her eyes grew wide. "Uncle?" she asked.

Tosca watched on, interested. She had never been caught in a situation such as that... she could only imagine what thoughts were running through Dusk's mind. There were billions running through her own.

Dusk took in the sight of her long-lost uncle in awe. She had often wondered what it would be like to meet him, face-to-face. Now she was finally getting the opportunity. "I don't believe it..." she said. There was a pause, then she started forward, slowly, almost as if she were afraid he'd disappear if she got too close.

Tosca had to smile at that, she was happy that Dusk seemed to be taking the whole situation so well. Then again, she wasn't sure what was going to happen in the first place, but from her point of view, things could've gone wrong.

Twilight wasn't really that big on open displays of affection, but as he looked at his niece, he was suddenly overcome with a feeling of warmth. He gave her one of his very few genuine smiles and held out and arm. Dusk rushed the rest of the way to him immediately. "I thought I'd never find you." she said, tears of joy running from her eyes and into his fur.

Rowtag smiled at the scene before him, then he turned and left the clearing to give the two some privacy.

Tosca smiled too but followed her brother. She was glad the two had found each other.
"Well that was nice" Tosca said aloud, not realizing how awkward she sounded until she said it. "Do you think she'll stay with us?"

A Rowtag glanced at his sister and smiled. "I really do hope so." he said. The two walked the rest of the way in silence, contemplating how this newest adventure would pan out.
