Yeah, well...Welcome to club "World"...Yeah, once this topic is gone, everyone would just forget about it anyways...I mean, why don't you try to do something? Plus, it will never stop, never...People just shouldn't give away animals so easily...Like pet shops! Selling animals is pretty wrong, even if they're going to a home...But still...They're just giving the animals away to strangers and they wouldn't know if they were going to abuse them or not...Animals are just, given away!

That's why my nieghbor doesn't give puppies away if one of her dogs breed...Because people just don't care about their animals...Sure, when they're puppies they're fun, but when they grow up, oh no! you have to do something called responsibility! Not all people are that way, but most...And kids at my school are lucky they have dogs and cats, but what do they do? Ignore them...If I had a pet, I'd talk about it a whole lot...Except the pets that are gone...

Animals get put into the hands of the wrong people a whole bunch of times, and we need to be more careful if we ever decide to give animals to people...And that's the problem with those free kitten and puppy things, strangers can just pick them up and then, they could abuse them!!

There are animal abusers everywhere you'll find them anywhere you go. Why? cause it's reality it's not some kind of fairy tail where you say animals live happy ever after. Nope reality is now and today and tomorrow. Beside if we want to stop animal cruelty. Then you start a petition for animal cruelty around your neighborhood or where ever you live. People can try to finish animal cruelty but it won't finish completley. Sure you can finish it in the U.S or where ever you're trying to stop it. But there are always people who will try to disobey the law. So if you want to start a petiton go to http://www.petitiononline.com/ to get your petiton.

two german shephards have been in the paper lately (they named them torville and dean) that wher dumped then found nestled under blankets, and yes that is so cruel!!!!!!!!

Umm...I take offense to that. I'm a pagan and no pagan I've ever spoken to believes in ritual sacrifice. Perhaps back during the times of the Crusades did people sacrifice an animal in the name of their dieties, but most people now-a-days don't believe in that sort of thing. If you think about it though, people during those times tended to be on the superstitious side. And no, pagans aren't devil worshipers. It's a common misconception. The Native Americans practiced a form of paganism and no one associates them with witchcraft. Not trying to cause any fights or anything, I just want to help clear some things up.

I think killing an animal as ritual sacrifice is wrong, but people do have the freedom of religion. I believe that they should create an alternative, such as "sacrificing" an inanimate object, such as a stuffed animal or a wood carving. As long as they aren't hurting someone or something, I don't have a problem with people worshipping as they please.

Yeah, but if it's something like a goat, then it's ok. Or a cow. Because of course that's one of the things they are raised for...^.^ Moo! ^.^ Randomness...

I wish people wouldn't be so crual to animals. And when we slaughter them for food, I wish that there was a Nicer, Less Painfull, more HUMANE way to do it....I am ESPECIALLY AGAINST HORSE SLAUGHTER AND DOG SLAUGHTER!!!

First of all, pagans (in the original definition of all people except Christians) are not all those who kill for sacrifices...

Second, yes there is freedom of religion. And since we are not these people who did it (lets say it surely was for religious reasons) we don't know how worthwhile or unworthwhile it was. Either way, I find killing such animals terrible. Cows and pigs were mentioned as killable... But your just saying that because you havn't had contact with them. Playing with a cute little cow and eating it for dinner isn't fun...
Worst of all, if the German Shepherds were tortured... That's the limit. But it goes on for all animals- humans, dogs, cats, cows... Everything... Will it ever change...?
