"Chief Tekuse sent out the hunting patrol just after Taki, Sirah and I went looking for Zane. When they get back, if they've made kills, they will bring it over there--" Kya pointed to a fair-sized clearing, "--and the pack will be called to eat." She began to walk towards the clearing. "They generally set the prey in the center, and then every wolf takes turns getting a piece: first Chief Tekuse, second the Senior Adults, third the pups and parents of pups under the age of 5, fourth and finally, the rest of the adults. When everyone's taken a piece, they return to sitting around the area to eat."

Shadow nodded along, amazed at how organized this pack was "I see, Thats good to hear." He looked around "Hold up whos our teacher then? if im training with you and all"

"The teachers of pups varies," Kya explained. "It could be any one of the adults; they take turns training. Until a pup is 5, it is trained by it's parents. When it turns five, it still lives with its parents, but is trained with the other pups by different adults. When the pup turns 10, it starts sleeping in the pup's tent rather than with it's parents."

Shadow nodded "So Organized.. i think il like being here!"

Sirah clinged tightly onto his arms "Im glad! You a good hunter?" She said feeling his muscles "You look like you trained hard in ya old camp"

Shadow blinked looking down to her "Cute aint ya?" he said ruffling her head fur alittle "Well back there.. you was pretty forced into being strong.. if you wernt you get driven off or killed cause your too Weak.." He glared, his fists clenching into a fist "I only barely managed to survive the tests of being worthy of kept alive in that camp.. il never regret running away.. i mean exiled"

Kya blinked, her expression mostly blank, but with a hint of sympathy. "Your old camp sounds harsh," She murmured half to herself. Had he said run away? Shadow was turning out to be an interesting wolf, indeed.

Shadow looked down alittle sad, but shrugged "Our leader taught us weakness is gonna kill us.. So we always have to be strong.. i was pushed so hard that i started to weaken out and thats why i was exiled.." he nodded, He didnt want to explain why he ran away from his old camp. but he felt more comfortable with exiled as it was safer to explain. "But thats all i wanna say.. i dont really wanna talk about it.. i only just met you and all." He said looking up to Kya, she was Cute.. Smart.. Kind.. But after past experience he rather stay aware..

Kya nodded, she could see why Shadow didn't like his old camp and why he didn't want to explain more. "Well, anyhow," She said, changing the topic, "We should probably get back to the tour of camp. She pointed to a group of tents not to far off. "Those are the adult's tents. The big one is like our tent...it has a divider down the middle, half for the males and half for the females. But when two wolves become mates, they are allowed to build their own tent...hence the smaller ones surrounding it. Pups under 5 live in their parents' tent."

Shadow nodded "Ah thats nice to hear, Quite a small camp yet you got so much set.. What do you do for fun? to pass the time?"

Kya shrugged. "Well, the pups talk, play, practice...what most pups would do. The adults often spend time hunting, weaving, caring for younger pups...you know, that kind of stuff."

(ooc: just to note i remembered. Sirah is smaller then the other wolves. not TOO smal lbut a small wolf for her age. you get what i mean? =3)

Sirah let go of Shadows arm wandering behind him

Shadow blinked but looked to Kya "I see, Well What else is there to know of your camp? prehaps afterwards we all could do something" he shrugged "I dunno.. i know im still new and il understand if you dont wanna play or out."

Sirah at that moment jumped onto Shadows back, Pouncing like and attachs her arms around his neck. "Or Play now!" she said in a exicted tone.

Shadow managed to keep his balence holding up Sirah laughing alittle. wrapping his arms around her legs like a piggy-back ride

Taki, who had been monitoring the conversation from a distance, walked up. "Someone say 'play now'?" She asked, and then randomly jabbed Kya with her finger. "TAG! You're it!" "What??" Kya exclaimed, surprised. She bolted after her sister.

Shadow watched after as the two chased off. Sirah jumped of Shadows back chasing after Kya. Taunting with raspberry's. Shadow watched for a few moments. Watching as they played, it was so.. different.. so nice..

Kya at last caught up with Taki. She tried to poke her, but ended up nearly tackling her. "Tag!" she yelled triumphantly, jumping off her and running the opposite direction as quickly as possible. Taki stood and shook the dizziness out of her and scanned for her next target. She decided on Sirah, running after the smaller pup playfully.
