Personality: Pearl is very intelligent for her age. Whatever she doesn't know, she tries to figure out. But she isn't a nerd. Pearl loves to talk. She can talk about any subject. Sometimes it's hard for her to shut her yap, but she usually figures it out for herself. Other times she can be a bit full of herself, though, gloating about how smart she is, and it's a little annoying to some people. All in all, she is surprisingly a great friend. She has great advice, and loves to help others.
Likes: Nature, being smart, her friends, and being helpful
Dislikes: Aruguing, a slient room, not knowing something, and not being able to do something
History: As a pup, Pearl wasn't as smart as the rest of her siblings, but unlike them, she
wanted to learn. She asked her mom so many questions about the world, many of which she couldn't answer herself. Pearl, with no one else to go to, went to her 8 year old owner, Amber because she goes to school everyday. But since Pearl could only understand what Amber was saying, but not the other way around, Pearl couldn't ask any questions, but she could observe. One day she followed her to school, she hid in her backpack, and heard the entire conversation in the classroom. She was interested in all of it, and wanted to learn more about the world. She kept what she had done a secret for the past week, but finally confessed to her mom when she asked where she has been all day. But she claimed she knew so much more than only a week ago. But Kit still wouldn't allow it. One day Amber was working on math homework, and as a joke, she asked Pearl what 1+1 was. Pearl had an idea. Instead of saying the answer to her in words (which she knows she can't do) she barked twice. Amber gasped and asked what 1+2 is. Pearl barked three times. Again, 2+2, she barked four times. Amber was amazed at this discovery and decided to bring her to show and tell next week. When she got in the classroom and did her fantastic trick that day, all the other children were totally astounded. Pearl became the talk of the school for a while. She wasn't only good at math, but many other things. One time Amber got a map of the world out and asked where Alaska was. Pearl pointed to it with her nose. Another time, she got huge letters out and asked her where the letter A was. Again, she pointed to it. For two years, that's all Pearl did, learn. Kit realized she was keeping Pearl from doing her best, to be a learner. And apologized. Pearl said it was okay, and that she shouldn't have snuck into Amber's school without permission. Pearl became the smartest dog in Nome, but that was enough for her.
How she feels about parents: Pearl loves both her parents, but sometimes she hates when she does something she thinks is right, but her parents dissagree. But when they're not yelling at her, Pearl thinks they're two of the best parents ever!
How she feels about Clover: Those two are like two peas in a pod! They both have linked personalities and Clover's probably Pearls best friend. They love talking about new ideas to anything, and respect each other in what they think is right. When one has a problem, she goes to the other for advice and what not. They're glad they're sisters!
Other: Pearl doesn't get along with the other siblings as well as Clover, though. But Pearl has two more best friends, a bunny named Marsh (short for Marshmellow) and a Border Collie named Pepper, who sometimes doesn't get why Pearl likes to learn so much.
