"She's a vampire though." Tim's friend from home told him over instant messenger. "If you could see her eyes you would know." He replied. "Its your choice, but be careful. I have to go now." His friend typed back. Tim shut the computer down and put it in his backpack, walking out of the cafateria and down the sidewalk. There was no way he was wasting an hour after school today to sit in Mr. Strickland's office, listening to him go on and on about slackers.

Poison walked out of the cafeteria, she went to study hall and pulled out her textbook, and got out a pencil to take notes. She couldn't concentrate so she just took out a book and read, she couldn't concentrate on that either. Sighing she got up and went to her dorm until her next class which would be her last of the day. Poison couldn't stop thinking of Tim, she layed there thinking about him , and was almost late for her next class. When she got there she just took her seat in the back and started daydreaming about Tim again.
Drake sat with Nika at the lunch table, he said "So why are you in this school? No offense, but you don't seem like the kind of person who would want to go to this kind of school." He motioned with hand around him, still not taking his eyes off Nika.

Nika scoffed "Well neither do you, but its a long story." She flashed him a small smile/smirk. She spun her legs over the bench to where they were dangling on the other side. Nika smiled a little as she looked down at her knee-high black and hot pink converse, Michael would've loved these on her.

Drake smiled at her, she was really beautiful, and not the model beautiful just naturally beautiful. He smiled as she looked down at her shoes, he followed her eyes. "Well mine is a long story to, and i love those shoes."

Lyra sat down heavily at a random table, setting down her tray. She looked at the lunch with an expression of disgust. Same as usual. Some identifiable substance, followed by something else. Sighing, she picked up a fork, stabbing at the food rather than eating it.

As Tim walked back to his dorm room Poison kept popping in his head. "I can't stop thinkin' about her." He said over the phone to his friend. "You'd best get over her, Mate. Vampires'll do us shifters no good. Th' sooner ya learn that the better off you'll be." Hanging up and tucking the phone in his pocket again he growled-a trait he liked to keep. It let people around him know when to leave him alone. Not that there was anyone else walking about just now, they were all in class, where he should be. Only he wasn't about to let Mr. Strickland catch him after school for detention.

After class was over Poison walked to her dorm very slowly even though it was only around 5 or 6, she layed on her bed wide awake not even tired daydreaming about Tim. "I need to get him out of my head!" she said to herself. If only it could be that easy...to bad it wasn't.

Nika's eyes shot open at his words, he couldn't be another. "I-Uh..Thanks." She managed to choke out, nstantly she wrapped her arms around her stomach to cease teh tears she felt coming. "I have to go, I'll be at the TV room tonight at eight. i'll see you then." She said quickley before grabbing her stuff and rushing out of the room, a few tears streaming down her face.
Alex walked intothe school and sat down at the lunch table where a girl was sitting at. Her whole figure intruiged him to inch a little closer but he dared not to. "Hi, I'm Alex." He held out a hand towards her suddenly. What am I doing? He thought, he flipped his bangs to the side to reveal his deep green eyes.

Lyra inhaled sharply as she met his eyes. They were a deep green, reminding her of the color of pine needles. Instead of grinning like an idiot, and stuttering, she took the hand. A shiver raced up her spine at the touch, but she didn't let it show on the outside. On the inside, however, she was in emotional turmoil, feeling happy for the first time today. "Hey," she said. "I'm Lyra. Nice to meet ya'." She almost winced at how stupid it sounded. Nice way to impress a guy...she thought. Then, she realized she had never actually been interested in boys since like, the 8th grade, when a really cute one had flirted with her. It was an amazing feeling to experience again.

Alex smiled lazily, but in a cute fashion none the less. "Lyra? Thats a interesting name for a interesting girl." Alex looked her over, she was beautiful. He tried to picture Henry's comment on her 'Dang man, how did you get a hottie like this?' But Alex wasn't like him, he was a gentlman, it was how he was raised.
